lol Poor Lynch, he's mistaking Sweden for Norway & Finland (like right there on Alexi's shirt). It happens.

I recall when George played in my home town several years back and was signing autographs afterwards. A guitar player buddy of mine was so starstruck and nervous about meeting George that he (my buddy) was in the bathroom throwing up because he was so nervous. I don't think he ever worked up the nerve to go talk to George who is one of the nicest, most humble guys you could ever meet guitar player or otherwise.

Lynch giving praise to Mattias IA Eklundh of Freak Kitchen was A+! I'm shocked Alexi didn't know of him. He was the first artist Steve Vai signed to his Favored Nations label for good reason. Lynch has 100 times the signature voice on guitar over Alexi. So many Malmsteen and Gilbert clones but they're all really great players indeed including Alexi.

alexi once gave me a red eric johnson jazz iii when i was getting a hate crew shirt signed.and now i play better.

And freaking ridiculous at playing as well. Hocus Pocus is still badassery.

George what bout john McLaughlin ,Larry Coryell, A. HOLDSWORTH, STeve Hackett, Steve Howe, Robert Fripp, A. Lifeson and to Me the greatest guitarist ever Frank Zappa. Surprised George didn't bring up some of these guys. To me there the most influential guitars and coolest genre there ever was. I wouldn't say there from the same genre some are more progressive rock and others are progressive jazz but its progressive music nonetheless.

I don't get it. Gerorge is huge. He works out and all that yet he still smokes. I am not against it bceause I also do but Its kind of hard to train when you are out of beath from the smoke

Elise miller I only like to hear what guitarist speak through their guitar. You're right but Lynch has amazing tone, rhythm and gut wrenching lead work like only a crazy mind could come up with. His 80's work is phenomenal really.
