Children of Bodom played a massive role in my getting into extreme music. I remember coming across the video for "Trashed, Lost and Strungout" on youtube right after in came out when I was in middle school and I was just blown away by the songwriting and skill of the entire band. That led to me discovering Amon Amarth and the majority of the music that I listened to for the next decade. When I heard of Alexi's passing, I knew I wanted to cover a song but I couldn't decide which, so I went with a Top 15 riffs video instead. I hope you enjoy it! Rest in Peace, Alexi!

You know, looking back at it, Alexi was a fucking amazing riff writer as much as he was one of the greatest lead players ever.

The whole blooddrunk is hated by so many but still it was my first touch on COB and i still love it to this day 100%
Alexi wasn't just a great guitarist but also a damn good song/riff writer as can be seen in this video. Plus, he was a great person. Met him once when they had a 'Blooddrunk era', i was only 16 at the time and must say, he was so nice to me, a perfect gentleman, polite, friendly, making funny jokes etc. Therefore, when I heard he passed away, it was a huge shock to me. Rest in peace, Alexi 💜💕💜 we will never forget you! Jordan, you did an amazing job in this video. Keep it up! All the best to you ❤️👍

@@Ithboltar666 I'm glad you say that. Alexi was super talented but at the same time very humble. He never played any role but was always himself. It's nice that they finally got a decent tombstone for his grave in Helsinki, Malmi Cemetery.
Top 15 Bodom riffs. I do not think, there was any possible wrong outcome to this. Name 15 Bodom riffs, that would of been wrong to call top? You cant! Bodom is my all time childhood favorite band! I do think Red Light in my Eye is a VERY UNDER rated song.

I either program them or play them, depending on complexity. I use Superior Drummer 3 or GGD drum libraries most of the time.
