idk guys don’t come for me. but asking someone to throw away their future so that they can together is not love. my friend got into a relationship with a guy two years junior. she got into a good college but he wanted her to stay. the two years she just supported him in his studies. he got into a good college and broke up with her, after he found someone there. she got depressed and didn’t pursue her studies. met her last year and felt sad. he’s living his life and she’s just not qualified enough to apply for any good job. edit: thank you all for the wonderful replies. i want to clear that after she got in that horrible relationship she left all her friends. and we all went to college and lost touch. but we are slowly getting back to the being friends. also i gave her a list of community colleges she can apply to. she’s excited about it. i also want to say that you guys are so wonderful for the support and suggestions❤️

I went back to university at the age of 25 because I couldn't get a decent job. I felt so old compared to everyone there and the people around my age already had a Masters or a PhD. She is so beautiful!

I just happened to watch the movie. Her father was overbearing because of the loss of an older brother to cancer. The father had repressed guilt because he was a doctor but could not save his son. He PUSHED his daughter to become a doctor to amend for his failure. The dad is a broken man. At the end of the story she runs off with the guy she loves but it was alluded to that she would continue her education after their get away and the father accepting the boy. It is wholesome remake of a movie from my youth. The girl is absolutely gorgeous just like the star of the original movie.

@@mattylamb9194 It's freakishly irresponsible and naive to think that relationships are only about love. The top 3 things couples in America fight over are money, sex and religion; in that order. I love my wife, and she loves me. How much she'd still love me if we were getting evicted from our apartment we could barely afford because I skipped university and the best I can get is a cashier at Walmart part time? That's a different story entirely!

@@JamesLee-sw6ss - Of course, realtionships aren;t just about love, and people can fall out of love, (sometimes because one half is lazy/unambitious). However, without love there is nothing worth fighting for when times get tough. It certainly should matter far more than comparing earnings.

chemistry between two leads... 🔥story was ordinary,,, but two leads steal the show.. it was like old Hollywood movie..

I really liked this movie. It's a little predictable / corny at times but it's still an effective piece of work. I thought there was great chemistry between Jade (Gabriella Wilde) and David (Alex Pettyfer), maybe better chemistry than the 1981 film's Jade and David. Plus I like Bruce Greenwood and Joly Richardson, both of whom I thought did a great job as Jade's parents. Now I don't think this is one of the best movies ever, but it certainly is a nice romantic drama / date night type of film. I'd give it 3 stars out of 4.

this is not even close to endless love 1981, completely different stories, they just used same names.

The film is a remake of the Brooke Shields film. A controlling father sets out to stop his daughter from getting together with her childhood crush.

There was a movie adaptation of the book, Endless Love, with Brook Shields as Jade. It wasn't great, but this seems even worse. I highly recommend that you read the book. It's much more than a teen romance.

Pumpin Blood (the love montage) scene is just so so so beautiful. Finally a happy ending live up to the title as opposed to an ironic title. They change a lot to make this happen lol
