Yes, I love "The Best of Me." While the two versions of the Leading Lady look similar enough, it stretches beyond belief that Luke Bracey would somehow grow into James Marsden, since the two look nothing alike!

One of my absolutely favorite Nicholas sparks movie but such a very tragic ending although Michelle played Amanda so amazingly I couldn’t stop crying watching this movie 😭😭💔

Amazing recap - this movie looks really great!

This is my favorite movie. Not an action movie or a horror movie, just sheer romance. Alternate ending was just as beautiful as the regular, quite a story. Wish it never ended.

So a movie about how the justice system is the villain since Dawson's family should be in jail for the rest of their lives and if they were, he would be alive? OK.

That was so evil for a father to do that, and I thought that blood is thicker than water. This made me missed my father very much, he was alcoholic but despite that he got up very early every day to prepare foods for my grown brother, he boiled water for him to take a bath and so on and on, my brother was a bad seed all he gave to our dad was head ache and gear ache and my father died from consistent beating from my evil brother who until now doesn’t realized how evil he is… now he is living alone far away which he deserve.

Easy enough for me to believe being a father doesn't make you less human and being humans comes in all shapes or forms a terrible person has about as much chances to be a father than a very good one since a lot of the decision making go to who he's having sex with rather than the good or bad man decides it or not

The way Amanda looks in adult is weird to how beautiful she was at young

I get a kick out of these movies that show the teens climbed a water tower and that's their hang out spot. Ya, that doesn't happen lol. I climb towers for a living. Those old water towers like that are sketchy AF and NOT easy to climb. These kids wouldn't make it half way before they freaked out and turned back lol. Especially her in a dress and heals. That would have ended after 10ft.

The book and the movie are quite different.

In one scene his eye is bruised on the right,then it shows on the left...weird

Lol only a dumbass would see that. Clearly the movie shows how men who don't know how to love and are not in touch of their emotions leads to chaos and heartbreak. Stupid and weak father and brothers.

You bump into each other without wearing sunglasses and also not pretending to not recognise the other but should exhibit the surprise stare(is it him/she?) for the person to approach you. The most painful thing is to be bothering a stranger who looks like someone you know
