Not to mention when seconds count, police are minutes away. There's a myriad of lawful means to handle a threat that don't involve the badge bois.

How do you know this man isn’t abusive to his kids..? If a report is sent to cps it isn’t just for fun.! Did everyone forget Casey Anthony who was killed by her mom in Florida ? Cps didn’t do the job then .. what about californias cps and the Gabriel Fernandez killing ..? That kid died too and was abused by both parent for three years and 25 reports to cps and what happened..? Plz do tell me .. they got this same run around except the parents never recorded that shit I wonder why..! I’m literally tired of watching kids die by the parents and be abused by these ppl. Child protective services don’t need a warrant they get the police and will force you to bring the kids out to cps. And you don’t need a warrant for probable cause. A child abuse report is probable cause of concern for the child or kids. This is where the law is iffy . Ppl forget this bullshit.

@@PAMELAPORTER-ci7mr Narcissist psychopaths vigorously defend their disease and its spread to the next generation. One of the ways it is spread is through attachment-system trauma such as parental deprivation. Father deprivation is the leading factor in criminal behavior, drug and alcohol abuse, mental illness, homelessness/runaways, teen suicide, teen pregnancy and a litany of solely negative impacts on society. It is so life-threatening for a child to be without their father that a study showed that the default position should be to keep children with close contact to their father despite the minority of those that have failed in their role. These people ignore these facts. They, then, find news ways in which to effect this outcome. Every other weekend is still father-deprivation and simply a breadcrumb to quell dissent from the people. By you asking the question, it shows that you are trying to confuse the issue and don't care enough to look into it for yourself. One of those, perhaps, that wants to spread chaos, pain and misery throughout society.

No, I think this was almost perfect. He was polite, clear, and sober. He didn't behave like a barricaded suspect or an alcoholic abuser. All documented on video. He got video of them attempting to assert powers they did not have ('we have to verify your id', 'we have to see the child', 'CPS does not need a warrant'). He got video documentation of the reason for the visit. Now it is difficult for them to later claim a larger scope of investigation. The only change I would make is to leave the phone in your pocket. You have a camera above the door, capturing audio also. The phone isn't helping. Once they know you have recorded the encounter they might subpoena the phone if there is court action. If they don't know about the door cam they won't go after it. Also, if they don't know they're being recorded they will be comfortable making threats and behaving coercively. And you will have it all on video. This guy was great.

When I was going through a breakup with my kid's mom, she would call CPS anonymously, and they would show up nearly every week, it was always unfounded. It got so bad that one time the CPS worker revealed that it was my kids' mom calling in and that I should have my lawyer file a FOIA on the calls. One morning, a new kid, some swinging D CPS worker out to save the world shows up at my door on a Saturday morning, on a weekend I didn't even have my kids accusing me of all sorts of insane things. He wanted to come in and search my house. I told him to pound salt. He called the police I called my lawyer, my lawyer called a friend who was a judge who issued a show cause order. The state trooper showed up and tried to bully his way in, my attorney drove to my house with a copy of the order and the trooper and CPS worker had to pound salt. Long story short, my lawyer went after CPS and they never bothered me again after that. You have to stand your ground against these people.
