Ich war 17 Jahre alt. Sollte mit meinen Eltern irgendwo hin gehen. Sie waren abfahrbereit, warteten und ich hing mit dem Kopf zwischen den Lautsprecherboxen und hörte dieses Stück. Ich war völlig weggetreten während meine Eltern sich hintersinnten :-) Dies waren die besten Zeiten der Musik. Und ich bin ihnen bis heute treu geblieben (67 Jahre). Yes....he went four octives. You know what kind of training that would take. Youre right its the best rendition Ive ever heard of this. This was an anti VietNam war song.. You can tell at 9:52 he starts losing his voice...fricking incredible...almost 10 minutes of hitting those notes...

What a great cover of one of the best songs ever. A terrific live performance that almost surpasses Deep Purple's audio version itself. The vocalist P. Elfimov is pretty much the best thing I've ever heard on this song (and this track is one of my absolute favorites!). In my youth (1960s/1970s) we listened to some catastrophic tape recordings (recorded from the radio with a microphone!!!) over and over again with fascination... What a treat to listen to this man along with the band and orchestra. Great! Thanks very much from Germany!

Невероятно! Музыка, оркестр и солисты, Петр Елфимов - БРАВО!!! Жаль, в шоу Голос у Петра не получилось раскрыться, тем более в поединке с безголосой Наргиз. Петр даже лучше Димаша поёт. Почему у нас невозможно талантам получить достойное признание?!

"Child in time" Deep Purple. Um tributo grutal. Simplesmente genial. Orquestra maravilhosa. Cantor doutro mundo. Melhor couver que já ouvi.

I heard this song as a young teenager in 1970s. I don't believe the band had an orchestra but this guy did a very nice job indeed.

It's good very good, but several instruments are actually off the original. He deserves a more Volumetric Symp.Ochestra as San Francisco S.O. which is used to perform for the real high end music composers as Metallica & others.

@@jannick-halben Wenn wir von denMusikern sprechen schon mal das echt echte Original in Originalbesetzung gehört oder gesehen mit Richi Blackmoore an de Gitarre den Ur Purple. Das ist ne sagen haft gute Interpration doch der Schnelle wechsel der Humbucker s zu dem normalmodifizierten Tonabnehmer von Richi merkt man einfach wenn man genau hinhört. Habe das stück mit meinen 66 Jahren auch zig mal gespielt , aber dabin ich ne faule behämmerte version beider Interpretationen. Ist auch ein Stimmgewaltiges stück ohne das es nie das geworden wäre was es ist auch mit dem Orchester Chapoo Standing Ovation von mir

I've listened to many artists over the years .but this guy's voice is on another level. The guitarist great energy. Oristra etc this version will take an effort to top
