Coming in from almost 2023: It got so much worse than any of us could have EVER conceived. This is just as heartwarming and even more poignant.

It's nice how a show that's constantly about all the messed up aspects of our world can occasionally take a few minutes to teach us a lesson about how friendship can get you through the hard times.

you know AT&T researched and paid for those "burns". This is how they market to people now. If they said something nice(AT&T is great!), you would know it was paid for, and insincere, and you wouldn't trust it. Marketing and advertising dictate that you have to be more crafty to reach people, you can't just say "our product is good" you have to create a confusing message to reach many people these days, think old spice. This is what AT&T wanted, and AT&T's research indicates this is the best way to portray their brand in this space at this time. Smart people spend decades of their lives working on these issues of marketing and advertising. And they know how to reach people and get their message to land. Don't think for a second, this is honestly defiant or rebellious towards AT&T. HBO and AT&T social media managers are watching this page and this discussion. They also have some fake account that are pretending to be regular users commenting, secure your content and control the discussion of it, that is how any reasonable player does it.

Well I smiled like a crazy person with tears in my eyes, so that's a yes from me.

I genuinely teared up in the end. My bf and I have been stuck in different countries due to coronavirus lockdown for more than four months now. Hope we'll see each other soon like Chijohn, Shinjonkun and Hejohn

Don't minimize depression. This show can cure depression, just as effectively, as it can cure cancer, basically not at all. If you are depressed, screen time is known to make it worse. If you are depressed consider making changes. If you feel you can't do it on your own, consider seeking counseling, it can help to have an outside unbiased party to confide in. Don't claim a TV show or it's writers have depression curing powers, that may be the opposite of what is going on.
