Still haven't mastered this, but think it's an interesting concept" posted by Ren Gill (The Illest of the Ill) Me: To me it's like Ren is psyching himself up to get bigger, how much bigger? Big enough to have the power to create a standardized treatment for Lyme Disease & an early detection system... hyuge you gotta be hyuge. That takes millions upon millions upon millions of dollars, but Ren ain't rich never has been most of the money goes to medicine. Some of the reactors have more subscribers than he does. that's why he feels like Atlas sometimes maybe like the weight of the medical world is on his shoulders but he can't shrug it off.

Glad to see this comment.... Chief... You be you.... That is why we are here. You are real and your excitement is contagious. My opinion is that the folks that don't want any pauses need to go to the original and watch it a couple of times straight through before they start checking out reactions. That's the point of the reactions.... right? I am at a stage of life and in the situation where I don't have anyone to share the excitement of these discoveries with. It was no one even remotely in the realm of the things that I have been checking out and learning about especially since discovering Ren. The musical world is opened again. If you'd asked me a few months ago I would have never ever believed that I would be listening to anything sounded even close to rap. My mind has been opened and you guys being there to give your opinions and validates my excitement over the same kind of thing is life-changing. I'm hoping to share a video that's on Facebook on Ren's Facebook page. The day this dropped and he was online with everybody. He got so emotional when he googled the song named just to see what was happening and saw page after page of reactions already out there. He was overwhelmed and had to stop video for a second to compose himself. Tears of happiness.... His words.

His lyrical use of double entendres is amazing, "I'm ready I'm heavy, I’m Mercury, I am Freddy,..." Mercury being a HEAVY metal, Freddy Mercury....😵‍💫 C'MON! Even the title is a double entendre - "Illest of our Time". He's firing warning shots in this one and making sure everyone takes notice. Nice to see him showing some attitude and confidence, being a little braggadocious. I Love it. He did a live stream right after the video dropped (on Twitch), and to see his genuine, emotional reaction to how many reaction channels had already posted videos within an hour of the songs release, was truly heartwarming. He shows his soul. This young man deserves every bit of love , support, and success he's finally getting. I couldn't be happier for him, especially for someone so talented, so driven, and without question, someone who has been forged through fire. Love this kid! Fan for life.

I call it "The Ren Paradox" Chief, it's where you wholeheartedly want nothing more than for Ren to be fit, well and living a happy life but, his pain just sounds so damn good.

Yes! I got Knight Rider, the old video games he's mentioned, and..... 80s horror movies. I can't think of the one specifically, but at the part where he mentions Freddy Krueger, it definitely sounded like one of those background tracks in the 80s used to increase anticipation. (To be fair, I was like six when my mom was into those, so I'm amazed I remember anything about them)

I would highly suggest reacting to Ren’s love music parts 1, 2 & 3 back to back. It is a really good way of understanding and confirming the man’s total genius not just as a rap artist but as a musical artist in general. The guy can do it all and his talents as a producer, a well rounded musician, a songwriter, a vocalist and a performer seems to be endless.

Man, I love Chief. So genuine and sincere. I feel better about everything when I watch his reactions.

I love it when I find a fellow Brit because there are so many American reactors. Liked, commented and subscribed. I love Ren, so much as a sick Brit from Eastbourne not far from him in Brighton. I am suffering today, really not feeling well - it's an ongoing thing but I can sit in bed and watch lots of Ren and Ren reactions between sleeping and feeling shit. So that's good.

No other way to say this but I love Ren so much, he really has rekindled my passion for music and I don't think a day goes by when I don't listen to or watch one of his songs. It's as though he has become part of life now, a part we didn't know we were missing but suddenly discover and it's magical. This may sound strange, but I hope it makes sense…As I am just discovering Ren, I find that I only feel “safe” watching some of Ren’s songs first through watching your reaction to the song and allowing myself to actually feel, react, as well. Your vulnerability makes me feel not alone in the feelings and makes me feel safe to feel whatever is stirred up. That’s a compliment…though I’m not sure I explained it in a way anyone can understand. Thank you for being you!

Ren has evoked an avalanche of mental health awareness. So many comments on his vids and on reactions and people break open. Tell about their mental history and how they feel helped by Ren's music. One guy even told that three days before he had considered suicide, instead 'Hi Ren' had saved his life. He reaches out to people in a phenomenal way and to me as well. I've not been this excited about an artist since I first heard Led Zeppelin in the '70's. He's so consistently excellent and it astounds me. Great reaction as always, Chief. Been waiting for you. I don't pick favorites of anything, but you are absolutely one of the few reactors I look for. To me, art is about emotion, expression, and connections. Most music today is not art, it's just music, and that's okay for most people. Ren doesn't just make music, Ren makes art. He's able to use his talents to express himself in a truly exceptional and unique way.

Ren and his peeps are my support system in an extremely difficult time of my life. I’m in the rare disease fellowship of the rings. In my final stages and still every doctor has no clue. My story is almost exactly the same as his. Got a few more tests to do and I’m done but this all gives me a glimmer of hope at a time I needed it most.

not having to breathe between bars so much, and having a heavy chest unable to breathe, and a diving device the iron lung of old then the reference to george orwells animal farm and 1984 books, then the freddy kruger song bars counting at start 1 2 3, also the gunshots underneath the beat, then the sherlock holmes reference, watson always being 1 step behind sherlock he feels like he is 1 step behind the greats in rap, then the freddy kruger slicing up as Ren slices up the bars. then stranger things reference with 11 demi gorgen, then mary poppins triple reference to his Illness taking if you don't believe him go listen for yourself then. not feeling well bars, literally he doesn't feel well, but, going to push through its his passion for music, then the double on king kong feeling like he got hit by him aching body, also movie reference, then throw back to the hardy brother wrestling double entendre swan ton bomb move, his bars flying in from the top rope slamming down with force he is going to b a force to be reckoned with in the music world. then he feels like all his words are slurred and slowing down from the meds and all the brain damage from Illness. wonton soupreferences his brain is like mush a wet noodle he is all over the place but he thinks that soup looks like brains. then he switches up the bars again referencing double entendre icarus song and the tattered wax wings of Icarus trying to reach heaven, but the sun melted the wax and he is falling, he feels like an outcast being kicked out of heaven. living in depression double again its help him write and get relief from making music, and he is literally living with depression found a way to cope with it. ( also do we want him to remain sick so we keep get to listen to his music or do we want him well and possibly not get any more music ). his intuition is better because of it giving him moments of clarity, also asking for our help to see if we can help him find answers he has been seeking but from our perspective maybe he will glean some insight from our reactions by looking deep into his eyes the gateway to his soul at the end you can see the pain, suffering and lack of rest on his face but by some shred of hope he hangs on to the light coming into his eyes / soul and he is literally holding onto the light, the Illest of our time, lymes disease, autoimmunity problems, chronic fatigue, etc
