The point of eeor as a character is to show a bunch of people who still love their friend even though he’s sad all the time, and being sad isn’t a flaw. So what the fuck is the point of that message if people use eeor as an insult? He’s still lovable!

Chicken Soup for the Soul also makes cat food, and it's not bad cat food--it's not expensive, it gets good reviews on the pet food rating sites I've checked, and my (picky) cat goes pretty nuts for it. When approached for comment about the books, he said "myaa" very softly. Take that as you will.

I'd just like to point out that the parents bent out of shape about pop culture references call their son an Eeyore, which is a pop culture reference.

The way Justin says "Chicken Soup for the tummy" with his pasted on blush stickers is just so adorable and hilarious

as a person who has worked at a pet store for years, we did sell chicken soup for the soul dog food. it was bad, people never bought it, and my store discontinued it because nobody ever bought it. i did think about this good good mcelboys bit every time i saw it though.

this was the first episode i ever listened to. my friend and i were listening in art class and i was almost crying bc i was trying to keep quiet. still a favorite of mine

It’s implied in Pop Christianity- Rainbow Bridge is a thing, as a manner to comfort the grieving. The idea is that there’s a special heaven for animals (which all of them go to??? Or just pets??? Only the good ones? How would that be determined?) and there’s fields and also it’s across a rainbow bridge

I used to read CSFTS when I was pretty young. So many of the stories involved death and sex and drama. It was so much more wild than Super Why ya know?
