The book was only about magical creatures, and this poster has only one (1) creature sitting on the ground near their feet.

@@leastmachine8693 I know for one thing that they refer to Johnny Depp as a disgraced shitbag probably referring to the domestic abuse accusations that his wife had levied against him at the time. The problem is if you look at that case now It turns out that not only was he completely innocent the whole time but he was actually the victim and his wife was the domestic abuser. At the time everyone just sided with her But now there's tons of recorded evidence of her being the abuser. It actually really sucks.

I'm confused here. I haven't heard anything about "innocence?" Johnny Depp was convicted of 12 counts of assault. As far as I'm concerned, his career can implode and he can take the Fantastic Beasts movies with him.

@@ashe767 THANK you. there is PLENTY of evidence of him abusing her. idgaf if there's evidence of her abusing him, she's not the one in the fuckin' movie franchise, and not the one we're discussing. the fact that some people can't hold it in their heads that two things can be true at once, and fell for the massive propaganda smear campaign Depp's PR firm underwent on a woman ostensibly coming forward about abuse, is crazy.

@@voidkisser7245 didn't that trial JUST find that Johnny Depp didn't commit Domestic Abuse? He was found innocent by the jury

@@TapdotWater no. the jury found that Amber Heard owed restitution for the damage done to his career by coming forward about her abuse. this was not a criminal trial of Johnny Depp. legally speaking he is still an abuser by virtue of his conviction for abuse - this defamation suit didnt find anything wrt whether or not he is guilty of abuse; it wasn't their job to do so. Depp himself is counting on people not knowing what the trial was actually about, so that they get confused like you and think he was cleared of "charges" (no charges were brought against him, as it was a CIVIL trial, not a criminal one). he also BROUGHT the suit against Amber, not vice versa. there's also some things problematizing the case, such as the massive social media attention, the recording in the courtroom, the PR firms working on either side, and the jury not being sequestered.
