Those nuggets look really good. I will definitely be making them! When I drain my canned chicken/tuna/salmon, I just use the lid. I remove the lid completely and press it down onto the chicken while it's still in the can. I just drain it over the sink. It works great and no extra dirty dishes. Back in the 50s my mom made tuna croquettes. She used all your ingredients except she added a little diced onion. I will try these with some onions.

Canned chicken is the bomb! Great shelf stable meat. Not terrible (366mg per serving) sodium wise. Surprisingly good taste. In addition to this video, you can make chicken salad, a very nice chicken noodle soup, an add-on to ramen, and more. I can't open a can without popping a hunk in my mouth!

My adult boys still love to eat chicken nuggets...LOL.. So I definitely might have to try these.. They look delicious!! 👍😁🤗❤️

Hello great recipe, I make this with same amount of almond flour, omitting the bread crumbs, 1/4cup of shredded cheese. Roll into balls put in Air fryer @ 400 ' 10min. flipping half way through. * Keto version

I just ❤it! I don’t I would add any salt because it’s can chicken for me it’s salty enough same with tuna and salmon 😋

Finally chicken nuggets with chicken in it. I don't know if it needs an additional egg so. The mixture looked very crumbly when you scooped it. Or perhaps grind half the chicken into a paste and mix it all together.

Rolling them into a tight ball worked well for us, but you can adjust for your taste.

I've never done that, but i don't see why not.

Open your can of chicken or tuna. Place a ramekin on top of the opening. Flip over in your sink. Then press down to drain all juices.

You can make popcorn chicken out of canned chicken

The recipe site is missing the breading step. I think I'll try adding a small amount of parmesan cheese (1 Tbsp?) to the mixture that sounds good to me.

@@CatherinesPlates In fact after thinking about it properly, the actual last time I had some of that tinned chicken, and the tinned stewing steak in gravy ( which is also priced right up there and expensive ) was about 3-4 years ago when I was having to use the local food bank when I was struggling to get by myself after my only child was taken away and put through a forced adoption, I lost my mind and spiraled down was signed off work etc . But even though I don’t have any access to seeing my little girl, ( it was a complex case, where by her mother was scaring me with her behavior towards my daughter and I felt like I had no support and I felt like I had to speak with child protective services and ultimately I had to just give up my rights so that I could ensure her physical and mental safety ) and I can’t change anything of the outcome now, but I can console myself with the fact that I know she is safe and living in a secure environment with a married couple and t to get also don’t have any other children so she is they’re sole focus. Anyways I’m the last year I am coming right back from the darkness that almost ended my life, and I’m doing much better in the last year to maybe 16 months. Sorry about the big and heavy pouring out of my life story, I am quit isolated and don’t have any I’ve to talk to apart from my Mam and auntie.

@@CatherinesPlates Oh sorry I was meant to say what I tend to use the tinned chicken and stewing steak for, with the canned chicken, I either use a can or two for the filling in a pie 🥧 or I’ll get a Pyrex casserole dish and I’ll drain the chicken ( like you said ) and then I’ll add in a can or two of some chicken soup ( the condensed soups are best because thee red n you can make the sauce as thick as you like ) and I’ll add in either onion or shallots and a handful of some nice peas, and it’s great with mashed potatoes and carrots or broccoli. 👌
