This franchise is under rated....their menu is brilliant, lol "R0,10c for half loaf, before inflation became the talk"....

Their hotwings are among the best I've had and I've had them all. 💯

NANDO'S also south àfrican company and also started in the southern suburbs of Johannesburg.

What happen to that meal from chicken liken in the 90s that had like a quarter bread toasted with mustard and a chicken fillet in the bread. Eish those were the days.....

I could add a great deal to the historical information of Chicken Licken's origins. George was a manager and not shy of being a waiter himself on the forecourt of the Dairy Den roadhouse in Ridgeway. There was a Dairy Den in Vereeniging too. Their signature offerings were their toasted chicken & mayonnaise & enormous soft serve ice cream with peanut and chocolate sprinkles. George was amazingly humble and hard working throughout. The toasted chicken & mayonnaise (chickwich ) was taken off the menu some years back - disaster for me, but has thankfully returned. Great brand & continuing to expand - well deserved.

I wish I can own just one chicken licken franchise, I think Parklands, CPT definately needs one.
