It was more about the brominated vegetable oil, which is not good for you and banned in the EU. But they removed that ingredient a few years ago. Sugar to liquid ratio has nothing to do with it. There are plenty of drinks being sold here with more sugar in it. In fact, I have bought imported Baja Blast last year here just fine

i love how all of the US' regular portion sizes are most of the time higher than the large for the UK

My family does KFC once every other month & we get the 16 piece w mashed potatoes and gravy, baked beans & the cole slaw & of course the biscuits w butter and honey. The mashed potatoes w corn and popcorn chicken covered in cheese are so good as well as the chicken pot pie and we have those for lunch about once a month.

Bruh all those ingredients for some fries.

KFC should bring back the ribs from the 80s, in the UK they had these devine ribs that were in a deep reddish sauce and they were amazing, ive never found anything that could come close to the flavour they had.

As a brit from Northern England I’m surprised that we don’t have the mash potato option. It seems a bit strange to have at a KFC but mash potato and gravy is really popular on a roast dinner. So I thought if anything was to be carried over to the UK menu that would definitely make the most sense

UK portions are tiny but were probably bigger before shrinkflation hit a decade or so ago (wiki it), look at the shrunk sizes of cadburys and nestle bars etc. It may push people to simply order two or more portions with an even bigger hit to their wallet (UK probably more expensive)

In fact, McDonalds removed their 6 piece chicken nugget size to profit more off the chicken nuggets, so instead of getting a 6 pack, you'd have to settle for a 4 pack or go for an 8 pack.

Who knew that if I bought something from one place and then bought the same from another, that one might weigh slightly different than the other! I work at kfc in australia and we can get chicken in pieces of 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 10, 15 and 21. Tenders. Nuggets. Popcorn chicken. Chips. Potato and gravy. Gravy. Chocolate mousse. Dinner rolls. Coleslaw. Fillet ang zinger burgers, can get with bacon and cheese and get them with an extra fillet, you can buy fillets on their own. Also these small spicy pieces called wicked wings.

From looking at certain uk ones like McDonald's The uk has on average less ingredients then US.

I would have expected "Potatoes" to be the first ingredient in the list for fries.

If you ever come to ANY KFC in JA the famous bowl is the most frequently sold item and is usually sold out on weekends

They should do this with Caribbean KFC (specifically Trinidad and Jamaica imo) VS American KFC. The taste is definitely gonna be bomb🔥
