Chick meringue cookies for Easter

Swiss meringue is used to make these cute chicks.
80 g egg white
120 g sugar
Whisk egg white with sugar over a bain-marie to warm the egg whites melt sugar and then whip it on medium until you get a dense meringue.
Then color the meringue, put it in piping bag and make chick shaped meringue cookies.
Bake or dry the meringue in a preheated oven at 80 C degree for 1,5 hour and then let the meringue cookies cool in the oven.
After they cooled you can decorate them with royal icing.

    Why would my meringues keep falling into eachother with decorating? I make a still consistency and the head falls into the body and oozes.
