Chicago The Band "Hard To Say I'm Sorry" 1992
Музыка
Another great song written by David Foster and Peter Cetera (Get Away, the jam at the end was co-written by Robert Lamm) from Chicago 16
The concert was taped live in 1992 at Pine Knob in Detroit for the VHS "And the Band Played On" that is now out of print.
Song list:
"Beginnings"
"Color My World"
"Stay the Night"
"Saturday in the Park"
"Hard Habit to Break"
"Just You 'N' Me"
"Does Anybody Really Know What Time it Is ?"
"Make Me Smile"
"Hard to Say I'm Sorry/Get Away"
"You're the Inspiration"
"25 or 6 to 4"

I don't know how it's even possible, but soft rock music can make me kinda nostalgic for a world I've never been and never seen. It calms down and gives a feeling of infinity of time as if our life is not so short at all. It gives me meaning and desire to keep living through this difficult time

No one can replace the great band Chicago, or the times back in those days. Like a few other bands back in those days, they too were one of a kind. Made the music from the actual lives they lived, as there was no music out there like it to copy it from.
Jason really sang well, feeling comfortable with his version too. Thanks Jason for taking up the voice after Peter

I didn’t know he was part Polish, in heritage. I only found out after I read about him in his biography. Peter is extremely talented. He grew up in a musical family even though his father was thought to be a machinist.

Jason is fantastic. He was always sorry for being compared to Peter in Peter's songs. Chicago should have let him sing his original songs more because he has his charm. When Deep Purple was also with David Coverdale, David sang almost no Ian Gillan songs.

Everybody needs a little time away I heard her say from each other Even lovers need a holiday Far away from each other Hold me now It's hard for me to say I'm sorry I just want you to stay After all that we've been through I will make it up to you, I promise to And after all that's been said and done You're just the part of me I can't let go, ooh Couldn't stand to be kept away Just for the day from your body Wouldn't wanna be swept away Far away from the one that I love Hold me now It's hard for me to say I'm sorry I just want you to know Hold me now I really wanna tell you I'm sorry I could never let you go After all that we've been through I will make it up to you, I promise to And after all that's been said and done You're just a part of me, I can't let go After all that we've been through I will make it up to you, I promise to You're gonna be the lucky one Terjemahkan ke bahasa Indonesia

One of my all-time favorite groups
Jason scheff had huge shoes to fill when he joined Chicago. I like him for the fact that he carried the music going and he knew he wouldn’t ever be on the same level as Peter Cetera and tried to do the best he could. That’s why I respect him.
his fingers barely touch the strings.. now that is rock level 9999
Such great vocal n song....really very meaningful song....nostalgic
The original band...often imitated...but never duplicated..
