Cetera is a prime example of how a person's personality informs their voice. You can tell by the way he performs that self-confidence is clearly not something he lacks. Yet simultaneously his voice has a built-in vulnerability that contrasts so sharply with his self-confidence, and yet resides in the same space all the while. There's a fascinating complexity there that never gets boring. Lennon had a similar complexity to his voice.

Peter Cetera is perfection. He gets into the song. Donell is more of a showman, doesn't get into the song, doesn't make you feel it like Cetera does.
Peter Cetera: Probably one of the best vocalists ever. Why? Uniqueness.
man , hit the notes nicely and confidently , great job Peter
No audible mistakes-these old bands were truly talented and great to listen to
It just totally sucks that Cetera left Chicago! After so many years, the world just misses his vocals with those incredible songs. Such a tragedy.

Sucks more that Terry Kath died and this is what they became. Great song but man... The band was clearly not happy for quite a while before David Foster came in and breathed some life into it. I am thankful for the years the band survived with Peter. It is very hard for any band to stay together start to finish. It is extremely rare. And what Chicago was able to do for the last 50+ years and what Peter did after as a soloist is nothing to dismiss. It all worked out in the end.

Peter Cetera is one of the best singers ever!! Chicago would not have been who they were in the 80's without Peter Cetera. They won a Grammy because of him. Just saying. Love his voice!! 💖💖💖
Effortless power in Cetera’s high tenor! Imagine having to perform night after night like this whilst on tour!
I love to hear him sing because he has almost perfect pitch, which is so rare. Incredible performer. I love to watch the videos of him from the 1970's.

One of Peter's best performances. Everyone is still young and the rhythm is good.

I've always hated that part of this song and I've always thought it was something Foster added to accommodate the horn guys cuz they always bitched that there weren't enough horns in the 80s music.
