We're pretty sure that the first thought most people have right after they've tried a shot of Malört is "Why the HELL did I just do that?!" and their second thought is, "I won't do THAT again!" We don't quite understand the reason, but it's a Chicago rite of passage, like ordering a Chicago Dog at Wiener's Circle or coming to understand WHY you must choose only ONE Chicago baseball team. The best part about doing a shot of Malört is that you never have to prove yourself to your friends again! (The other best part about Malört is convincing one of your noob friends to try it!)
