QUESTION OF THE DAY -- Do You Prefer A Safe Pick Like Artyom Levshunov Or A Riskier But Higher Upside Pick Like Demidov? Also, Drop Your Jake Guentzel Thoughts!!
It sounds to me based on what Davidson is saying and what other sources in the know that the Hawks are leaning toward Levshunov

Not taking Demidov and allowing the ducks to take him feels like a mistake, ESPECIALLY if KD isn’t spending big time money these next two years

@@ducksgo also you call Cutter Gauthier, Mason McTavish, Leo Carlsson, Zegras, nothing? Your best D prospect is what? Mintyukov? Your D prospect pool is EMPTY. The Ducks ARE TAKING A DEFENSEMAN my guy. Everyone that knows hockey they know it. Especially in such a strong D draft. Pat Verbeek also already said he was going for a defenseman. I could see Silayev or Levshunov or even Dickinson in Anaheim.

@@thebeaverqueen2096 you obviously don’t know my team. Anaheim has Luneau, Zellweger, Tyson Hinds, Noah Warren. Anaheim is loaded with D prospects. What Anaheim doesn’t have is any forward prospects besides Nathan Gaucher who’s garbage. Anaheim is number 1 in the league regarding prospect pools…. And you want to sit here and say Anaheim doesn’t have any D prospects 🤣 learn the Ducks prospects before speaking nonsense
For me it’s Demidov but I wouldn’t be disappointed with Levshunov either

Demidov all the way but if it’s not we’re still getting a great prospect
The Hawks are the only team that took Levshunov to Dinner at the combine. It sounds like a done deal. I hate the pick after watching alot of film. I would trade with Montreal for 5 and 26. Take Iginla. A 200 ft player with a solid shot who will get even better. Levshunov is not a great stick handler and has a average shot.

I'd rather the Hawks take Demidov at 2, but the next best player is Levshunov for sure IMO. But 2 still feels like a reach for him...
Always remember folks what general managers say and what they actually do are usually the complete opposite
I read where Guentzel doesn’t want to go to a rebuilding situation At least that’s the report don’t know how true
If we go with levshunov then we best get another top 3-4 pick next season we have 0 elite talent on the wing yikesss
I think levshunov is the guy
I’d sign Guentzel if he was willing to accept a 4 year deal tops, 5 or 6 year deals scare me.

Yeah if he wants to sign a 3-year deal then I'm in. Just doubt he wants to do that for a team that isn;t going to win immediately. Chance for him to get a big ticket, too.
