I love the moves the hawks are making!

Picks 18 and 27 cost them 3 second round picks when it didn’t have to cost anything. That’s messed up. Never mind the argument for relative talent that was passed up.

@@isurrender3640 Sure I can. Vanacker’s average ranking was in the UPPER 40s. His highest ranking was 27 and that was for North American skaters only. He definitely would have been available at 34. Two second round picks up in smoke.

I actually was a little more impressed by Mustard’s videos than Boisvert’s.

Riechel is 21, he was drafted the same year as Lafreniere, who just started looking like a first round pick last year, and he's on a great team.. Don't forget that, that draft was the COVID draft which must have screwed up most players development. He has the tools, he's signed for what, one year, two? If he doesn't progress after that, get rid of him. Craig Button famously put Martin St. Louis on waivers when he was G.M.

@@fubartotale3389reichel has never looked like a first round pick though. He’s scared of any kind of physicality. I’ve been wanting him to work since he came here, but he’s just a bust so far. He looks absolutely scared on the ice.

Don't know who plays center on 2nd line but we won Cups with that same problem lol

I have to say it’ll be more enjoyable watching them this year after the last few years were starting to turn the corner we’re just gonna get better and better each year gonna be a great watching them make a run for the cup in the near future! Let’s go Hawks!

Our top 6 just got much better , maybe AA gets moved. But maybe not way overpaid

C+. We missed out on some big names and soderblom is an objective bust. He never belonged on an NHL roster. Bertuzzi was a good signing though as long as he doesn’t pull a domi and take dumb ass penalties. We need bonafide scorers. We have yet to sign one. Bedard is the only pure scorer on this roster. Gonna be a rough couple more years until we can draft one, but KD had the chance this year and chose more role players… Demidov and Eiserman were the guys we needed.

Tyler Bertuzzi is an excellent signing. Surprised they did not sign Sam Lafferty - 2 yrs. at $2 million per year does not sound rich to me. Nice to see Joey Anderson rewarded with a 2-yr. contract. Anyone who finished the 2023-2024 NHL season with a + rating (Joey Anderson was +5 over 55 games) should be mentioned for the Hart Memorial Trophy.

He was facing every teams worst players though… that’s not something to be proud of. He’s a non tender on an actual contender.

Grade C+ for draft. No upset with the 2 later 1st rounders , but getting rid of 3 2nds for guys that should have been there anyway. Vanneker was getting surgery , which he would have probably been there at our 2nd spot. Head scratcher

Demidov wasn't taken till pick five, just sayin... I will say that I was surprised he dropped that far. That said, WTH was Anaheim thinking? If they take Lindstrom, a a similar but better player than Senneke, Columbus would have been open to trading the #4 pick and maybe the Hawks could have gotten Demidov. Effing Anaheim

Going to be hard for AA to find a spot , he is not ideal in the bottom 6. And top 6 should be filled , we will see
