Thats Robert Lamm on lead vocal...amazing song
There is no apology necessary. There is nothing to understand. Chicago is an all-time great band. You have great taste.
Bands like Chicago are priceless. The variety of talent and instruments in the band are far reaching and why can't we have music now like we had in the 60's, 70's and 80's. This song would be in my top 5 of hits by Chicago followed by, FEELIN' STRONGER EVERDAY, DIALOGUE, IF YOU LEAVE ME NOW, SATURDAY IN THE PARK AND MAKE ME SMILE. Keep reacting to those oldies Bro's, maybe some Bob Segar.

This concert is a treasure.

Yes, Yes, Yes and Yes!!!!
CHICAGO, "BEGINNING"... NOW IT'S GUITARIST TERRY KATH'S TURN TO SING LEAD. "MAKE ME SMILE"... THEY ARE ONE OF BEST LIVE BANDS EVER...
Earth, Wind and Fire is another band you would appreciate if you appreciate Chicago. What is great is, the 2 bands did a concert together and the 2 bands played together at the same time and they played each other's songs. :)
The studio version of this song is worth hearing too. The ending is dramatically different.
Saw them three times in the 70s when Terry Kath was at his best. Their live shows weren't full of pyrotechnics or acrobatics - they just played great music.
Chicago are among the gods of Rock n' Roll.....and one of the pioneers of Jazz Rock along with Blood Sweat & Tears. I have seen them in concert 2 times.......Excellent!!!!
Seen them a dozen times live! Unbelievable! Please dive more into them. Saturday in the Park, Feeling Stronger Everyday, Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is, Make Me Smile, 25 or 6 to 4.
Check out "Leonid and Friends" they are a Russian/Ukrainian band who play Chicago's music, and honestly are equal to Chicago in Musicality and production.

I love them they are super good, watched all their videos... but Chicago wrote, produced and performed this original music not even to mention you can't replace the guitar player Terry Kath, recognized as one of the all-time best

Yes pleasssssseeeeeee!! Chicago member commented to them how spot on they are. No one ever tries covering chicago. To hard to do. I am picky as hell with cover bands of my 60 70s artists I grew up with. They were cream of the crop. Never again..thank goodness for utube guys and gals. Lol. When chicago came out and through their longevity, the brass theme was unheard of with groups, and add other instruments and different lead singers . One of a kind talent.. I rate them #2 behind led zeppelin for my top 2 ever groups. If you will listen to non 60 70s I have some great talent names to share . Let me know. I love your station 60s 70s. But I also listen to some other non era stuff...

Make Me Smile (maybe TANGLEWOOD!!)
How can you NOT like Chicago? The best of the best " live " performances out there.
I'm sure you guys haven't missed it, but just in case... Chicago's roots are very much in jazz. They were the best of the jazz/rock fusion bands. (Though you should also treat yourself to another of the great jazz/rock fusion bands, Blood, Sweat, and Tears. Start off with "When I Die" if you decide to try them out.)
I miss seeing bands like this!! You guys make me smile!
I saw Chicago live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in about 1974. I've enjoyed their music over the years, but never bought an album - until I watched your reactions, so I bought several CD's and enjoy listening to them driving.
So smooth. Chicago goes down like a good bourbon. "Saturday In The Park" next, please.❤
These guys were so special and so in sync with each other and their instruments. It's really cool to watch you guys experience and appreciate one of the best bands ever. Glad you choose this concert with this song...just spectacular!
This band is so unique and so damn good! You see it... they are just having fun, enjoying to the fullest what they can do together and vibing off each other. It’s magic; at least it was then. So glad these performances have been captured and you guys get to experience them!
The looks on your faces says it all, great music for music lovers.
Thank you for playing so much Chicago. Love them
Chicago has always been full of surprises😊😏
It's hard to beat the early stuff from Chicago. My other favorite early music is the live stuff from THE WHO. Check out My Generation from their Live at Leeds album. If you want a live visual song from them try Amazing Journey/Sparks 1975 concert here on KZread.
I was born in the early 1960's, and I have to tell you that the first two albums I bought when I got old enough to start buying albums were Chicago and Led Zeppelin. You to brothers have discovered for yourselves these two amazing groups. Many bands have come and gone during my life, but those two are STILL the ones I have always come back to. Thanks for having open minds and hearts to embrace our favorites.
Thx so much ...looove Chicago... On an interesting note there is a band from Russia called LEONID & FRIENDS that covers Chicago sometimes even better than Chicago(who loves them) . take a listen in your spare time !!! Now please let's react to TOTO...one of the best bands( guitaristist) in the world. 1.) Hold the Line (VIDEO) 2.) Africa ...VIDEO 3.) Rosanna (best) VIDEO 4.) I Won't Hold You Back Now .
I had floor seats at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City in 1969. They blasted for acoustics for 15 minutes before coming on stage. One of the best concerts I have seen.
These guys were really out front as the vanguard back then. The feelgood vibes of the “Chicago 2” album helped buoy me up when I was at the “awkward age” of 14 and I realize now it’s a foundation stone for my sense of well being. They taught me “Life is Good” !
I was raised on Chicago!! Played their music in high school band. Still listen to them.✌🎶🇺🇸🎶✌
Excellent musicians
In 74 "Wishing you were here" Lead vocals Terry and a switch of him playing bass and Peter acoustic guitar! Came out the year I graduated and did Terry kill it!!, Back then you knew you were good if The Beach Boys were back.
❤️ LOVE THESES GUYS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE BAND!!
They have quite a few great songs. Make Me Smile and Wishin You Were Here...2 good ones! I live in Chicago! 😂
Make me Smile is another great song! Thank you for a great reaction!
We saw Chicago at A winery St Michelle’s, outside of Seattle Washington! My hubby and I were in love on our Anniversary and it was so magical!! They sound just like their albums!! You should listen to , Color My World’ we played this at our wedding!! Yay thanks guys for the memories!!
Saturday n the Park next .. it's a feel good song too. Thnx George & Patrick .. peace out✌🏼🤘🏼
Look for the band “Chase” for great horn sounds, and even the “Ides of March” for similar sounds. And don’t forget “Blood, Sweat and Tears” for similar sounds with roots in jazz.
So glad you guys love Chicago. They are an incredible band. They still do 100 shows a year. They are the longest running band ... ever. Not any other band has been around longer... not one. If you want to see a really good documentary about the history of Chicago, I highly recommend you watch the film called, Now More Than Ever: The History of Chicago. It gives an in depth view of the band told by the members themselves. I’m hoping one of your subscribers will find and send it to you guys as a gift, instead of another t -shirt. It’s an excellent documentary of the band. If I had your address, I would find it and send it to you myself.
In 1972. Chicago music was every where, awesome stuff 🍻👍. So are you guys 💞💞
Early Chi Town was Tremedous! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
They called themselves a rock and roll band with horns. I saw them a few times live in the 70s because some of them attended my alma mater (DePaul in Chicago) and they'd come back to perform. It was always amazing. Suggestions: Colour My World/Make Me Smile, Wishing You Were Here (there's a great video of them doing this live with the Beach Boys) and Dialogue Part 1 and 2.
What a horn section!
CTA/CHICAGO Live is Outstanding but their recordings are even better, if that's possible. Try it back to back. Also from 7/71 Tanglewood, "Colours" absolutely beautiful and heartfelt! Thanks guy.
If you like Chicago, you'll LOVE Blood Sweat and Tears - Spinning Wheel, And When I Die, Lucretia McEvil, You've Made Me So Very Happy...
This is my hometown. These guys are real Chicagoans: Tney showed the freedom we felt, the character of the people theorugh waiting for hours in cold winters for the el and the buses. initially named Chicago Transit Authority.
It doesn't get any better than that. One of my all-time favorite bands and songs, nice choice boys and great reaction. Rock on 🤘
Great tune! You guys HAVE to check out Leonid & Friends. They are from Russia (I believe) and they do the best Chicago tribute you’ll ever see and hear!!
Chicago is the one of the greatest bands ever!🥰👍🏻🎉🔥
One of my all time favorite songs ❤️
best band ever! my favorite song is feeling stronger everyday
CTA's first album is a classic...fantastic stuff. RIP Terry
Peter Cetera’s bass is phenomenal.
Fab choice guys, believe it or not, when you posted this i was listening to Chicago's 1969 track 'Listen' from one of my most fav compilation prog rock albums ever "Fill Your Head With Rock", check it out👌✌
I enyoyed their misic when I was a kid and even know. I had been in their concert for about 3 or 4 times.
Bros, you need to also listen to the studio version of this song. They do an extended outro that's a percussion instruments only jam that is FIRE.
Beautiful!!! Love them live, but the studio version is great!
Your first break comment made me want to say that as an amateur guitar player for 35+ years, I am not a ''natural". I have to work hard and practice a lot to keep a happy consistency. Most people that just "like" music but have never tried to learn an instrument don't get just how difficult it is to play live like these guy's are in this video. You don't just get up there and do it. Brilliant performances like this are the result of the musicians dedication/years of practice/intense rehearsals with the band and a commitment to strive for something amazing. Being somewhat naturally gifted musically doesn't hurt either. LOL. Cheers from the canadian Queen nut.
Was happy to hear you the other day nothing music from the 60 70 was politically driven. Hard times, Vietnam, JFK, Martin Luther King, Bobby Kennedy, we were the counterculture, you can hear it in our music. You probably look at the elderly a little differently, we rocked. Enjoy your show, Boy we had Great music, Motown 50 60 the best.
I always loved Chicago. Terry was a channeler for sure. It was like something was playing through him sometimes. 👻
You guys have to check "Leonid and Friends" KZread channel! They are a very popular Russian cover band that does awesome versions of Chicago songs!
My first concert. Chicago. My first 5 albums were the first 3 Chicago albums and 2 Cheech and Chong. It was 1973 And I was 12. Life was grand..
What a great live band!!! You need to react to " make me smile" by Chicago
My favorite Chicago song!
My favorite Chicago song ❤️
Chicago is great. They were good to dance to in 70's. There is tragic with the singer guitar player Terry Kath. He has dark hair guitar. He was into guns, and was smoking and drinking with guys in band and held the gun to his head. His friends said watch out... He said it ok it not loaded. There was one in the chamber and he accidentally shot himself. As and died right there. Then Peter Cetara sang more of songs after that.
Don’t get much better than that !!
Love this reaction
I second all of the ones listed below, but would also add I've Been Searching So Long, Just You and Me, Old Days, Another Rainy Day in NYC. There are at least a dozen plus more great songs from them you haven't heard yet and you will enjoy every single one.
Every player a maestro
Early Chicago with Terry Kath was fire!
Hey guys loved the reaction to this classic great job
Love you guys. Great channel
You get it! Right on
Tanglewood is a great place to see concerts xx love this song
I love how you love them!
Legends
BroAction, I'm a senior citizen and I saw them twice in concert. I took my kids once. They didn't like them.
Classic!
Love It!!!!
Cuanto talento musical había en ese momento en esa banda.
Great band.
Also listen to Leonid and Friends. They play amazing Chicago songs.
I hope the next video will be Queen reaction 😀💘
BroAction, you should listen to "LEONID & FRIENDS" from Russia, play Chicago covers, like "Beginnings", "25 or 6 to 4", "I'm A Man", "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?", and more! They play PERFECT Chicago covers with a FULL BAND of polished musicians.
You have to listen to Make Me Smile 😀
You need to listen to Make Me Smile, another Chicago blast of powerful music!
I've been lucky enough to see them live 4 times, they truly are amazing. Sadly, I missed ever seeing Terry Kath.
When are you guys going to react to some Rolling Stones?

Gimme Shelter
You guys have to react to Poem 58, oh, thank you great spirit (a jimi hendrix tribute) and Liberation. 3 great songs from them.
Earth Wind and Fire. Super band. Tower of Power. Super band. If you love Chicago like this, check out those two bands! You guys will flip out! :)
Classic. Never gets old. Check out "Does Anybody Really Know What Time it Is" by them.
You should listen to life in the fast lane by the eagles!
Hey guys. I like the live versions as well...you want to see them in the eighties with some huge hits? Try...the video hard habit to break. Amazing. Really shows their vocals
Hey guys. Will you please please please sample this iconic bands song cover of "I'm A Man" to do it justice, you will have to listen the digitally remastered version. I absolutely love your guys reactions. Very genuine. You guys will not be disappointed!✌

The 1968 studio live version...no horns though in that song...
This is an awesome song!! When you finish up with this supurb album check out If You Leave Me now. It has a certain perfection to it than I can't deny.
I've got a GREAT one for you to react to. It's under RocknRollArchive2 Chicago 1973.. Saturday in the Park and Does Anybody Really Know what time it is. This is a concert they put on at the Colorado ranch they rented to work on their next album. It was a cookout with family and friends and nearby neighbors. You'll love it!!👍♥️
Insane instrumental and vocal talent..but their unique songwriting and arranging skills are almost without parallel. A true super group..the total is greater then the sum of the parts. What you think?
