Great Videos! We are 3 years out from retirement. Chiangmai will be our home and the 3rd house on this video is perfect for our family of 3. I’m sure the house will be gone soon but hope to find something similar when our time comes. Thank you for the videos. The price range is perfect for us too. Can you make another video with a price range from $500-$700 and $700-$900 for single homes. It is very interesting.

Nice homes. I would go for the 1st home. Advertised as a 1 bed but has potential for 2 plus the sitting room can have a sofa bed for guests since it has a downstairs bathroom.

The third one is a good find. 1 and 2 are a bit less attractive because of the very limited kitchens. I know eating out is affordable but sometimes, especially when pouring with rain etc, its nice to cook and eat in too. When you were mentioning travel times i.e. this house is 18 mins from festival mall, is that walking or by car? I'd really like to live in an area where I could walk to a small supermarket, coffee shop, and some restaurants.

Wonderful ! Like all three, though #1 is kinda shoe-horned in, #2 would be good for homestay or airbnb…like a bit of dirt area, gotta have a mango tree and other..which “village” is it specifically? I stay Koolapun 9 when there and this place looked a bit familiar..aside from all that thx for the tour , ❤️CM 🙏🏻👍🏻🇹🇭

The third house had the most character IMO. I'm assuming that the stated rental costs of each of these properties is for a month. Also what is the term of the lease, 6 or 12 months and most importantly where are these houses located? Chiang Mai is a sprawling city and I personally wouldn't want to stay too far from the old city. And granny flat is a common term in Oz.

Wife and I are also Canadian and in Chiang Mai. Can confirm that rent, food, transportation, internet, phone plans and utilities are a fraction of the price here compared to Canada.

@@trevordupp8734 Lots of people bring their pets so you shouldn't have a problem there. We pay 500THB/month for unlimited 350Mbps up and down fibre at our condo.

@@CarryOnRTW I need to do more research on how to actually move there legally, VISA's and such. Def would want to rent a house somwhere just have no idea where. It would be handy to live in a popular expat city like Chiang Mai

I also liked the third one at the ending. I'm curious, a family of 4 on KZread calling themselves Elljoworld, from Europe showed renting this one 7 months ago, are they already gone?
