I am thinking about buying one of these because I struggle with using wands. I noticed y’all mentioned different products to use before and after. I checked the website and there were tons of different options of sprays, mousse, and oils. My hair is straight, long and medium thickness. Would I use the same products as the women in the video? What products do you suggest to use with this curler to protect my hair and make it look nice?🤩👍🏻😍

How do you change the time settings

The CHI Spin N Curl can be used on shoulder length hair. Take a 3/4" to 1" section of hair and insert it into the opening of the curl chamber, starting at the top of your head. Make sure you are using smaller sections for a more defined curl, since your hair is shorter. Press and continuously hold the arrow in the desired direction to curl the hair. Wait until you hear four beeps once the curl is set and remove tool gently from hair.

I did it and thank you so very much for responding! Once you "get it", it seems so easy now- I love how you can set the timer or let go sooner. This is so fun for all lengths of hair! Hi Dania. Before drying we recommend using a small amount of CHI Silk infusion all over your hair starting from the ends to the mid shafts, them after using any iron spray your hair with CHI 44 Iron Guard. After that use again CHI Silk Infusion and Style as desired with any CHI Spray. Note: We do not recommend putting CHI Silk Infusion in your scalp.

Yes, you can use this tool for the length of your hair, but instead of using 1 inch strand of hair, we recommend you using 1/3 inch. Let us know how this tool works for you and we are happy to help.

I have not owned a curling iron in over 20 years and unless my husband went and got a larger version of his 3D printer, I felt that buying a $75.00 Chi due to color and I must admit that Rose Gold is one of my favourite colors, what was strange to me had the price difference between the different colors of each Chi. I was afraid to purchase such an expensive curling iron, kept the box, packaging for the repack to send back the item should I not adore the Chi, I was stunned by the ease and security of using such a set up. Since my blow dryer ate a huge chunk out of my skull area like a 5 year old child with gum right up close to your face. Since peanut butter was not a choice for being able to keep the hair that was meant to be taken, I would have walked into a salon with the curling iron in whatever position it was in had I had any hope that they'd have been able to succeed in blow dryer removal. I have never thinned out my hair like this ever before and being agoraphobia sufferer, I can cut my hair into a Bob should I wish to allow for my hair to start to regrow and maintain the health of my hair by keeping up with it which is why I have been possessed by the demon of ugly hair. What I am stumbling over currently is the fact that my hair grows slow anyway and for the mistake already made, begging over to maintain a hold on actually healthy hair might be a really great opportunity to get it over with. The people who own Amazon Prime must be laughing their ass off since I bought enough different types of hair decorations to make 5 villages in the Congo to have a beautiful style with the perfect product to make sure it's perfect after the design is created, and I would not miss any of them, so as soon as I purchase a curling iron and decorations for my hair to start braiding and such with, I tangled my hair into the revolving blow dryer bad enough to require some scissors to get the most enormous knot of hair flat again. Bless Chi which is the only curling iron I've ever used to work and last after using it, think a Bob would be something I'll be able to figure out what I can do with it before we must eliminate Bob and see what Dorothy is up to? What a long strange trip it's been.

Is there anyway I can get a discount on this product? I’m going to buy it but I really need to save about 25$ for my books😭

Yeah! Thanks for being willing to give the new owner of this item direction for beautiful curls without the whole concern about burning your hair, having to go to the hospital to get your CHI removed by a professional and even though I'm 48 currently and have managed to avoid the whole hair loss due to being unable to wait nor follow simple instructions to ensure that your not headed for the possibility 5 year olds are more likely to learn about personally. My husband is always right. We're going to be on our 5th anniversary soon and since I have met this man, I have never been able to find fault with anything he has to say about anything. The 5 year old removal of my hair at age 48 could have been completely avoided by listening to my husband. I have to say, this lesson has taken a really long time to grasp a hold of. Bless him.

What’s the differences between the pink the black and the lava one? Also I tried it and the curls didn’t last nothing I was doing one side and look amazing before I ended up the other side the first side the curls was gone already just wavy. I have this feeling of love hate with this curler and if I can’t make the curls last long I will return the product to the store ☹️

Hi LuzPeñafort. There is no difference between the pink and black CHI Spin N Curl, besides the color. The only alternate is the CHI Lava Spin N Curl. The main difference between the CHI Lava Spin N Curl and the CHI Spin N Curl is the CHI Lava is infused with lava minerals that allows for more consistent heat and for the hair to be styled at a lower temperature, whereas the CHI Spin N Curl is made with our Ceramic Technology.

To have a tighter curl, change your timer settings to 17 or 19 seconds. We also recommend using the CHI Enviro 54 Hairspray--Firm Hold to lock in and secure the finished style. chi.com/chi-products/chi-haircare/chi-enviro-54-hairspray-firm-hold/

@@s13rr4buf3 The CHI Air is an older model of the current Spin N Curl. It is essentially the same tool, however the barrel is in the back instead of the front which can be a little less user friendly.

You can really tell who knows how to do hair...
