I will have episode 4 up very soon. I filmed it last week but unfortunately I rushed it because I was focused on my reaction videos. I’m refilming it and releasing it on time and with a blog post :)

Really great video doug!, the dopy sound is really really helpful, been using it ever since i found your channel and it really helps. One thing though, i had days where i was confused because my voice didn't seem to be responding to it sometimes, until i figured out i was holding myself back in volume those days and it was affecting how long my voice took to warm up. So i think its very important to stress how important volume can be, you should make a video on it!. Because of society we sometimes dont notice we are holding back, you know it firsthand since its showcased in your transformation video haha. Awesome stuff mate, your singing is sounding pro quality too.

Dude holy crap, please reply to this- when did you realise society is "holding us back" from loud sounds? I realised that in 2014 when I did lessons with Phil and watched Elliot Hulse. It's 100% true. Every good singer can make a sound without being held back by other peoples judgements or opinions or being afraid of being too loud

Wow I'm speechless, the first exercises alone (where you place a hand on your chest and speak/sing) makes a world of difference to my chest AND falsetto voice. It naturally responds with great resonance, ease, range... you name it. One incredibly helpful warm up to revamp how your speaking/singing voice functions in the morning or when it fails you. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us! :)

I've seen the exercise for bouncing your feet on a channel about being more charismatic (lol) it wasn't even about singing, just speaking - weird but totally helpful. Glad you brought it back up otherwise I would have forgotten. So weird how it works!

Bro I swear you are literally giving me such valuable information because lately I have been singing in my high register a lot and my chest voice has become so weak even worse than before!!! I also did what you said about not singing in our own voices but copying our favorite artists, and Only now I realized that I HAVE TO SING IN MY OWN VOICE AND STOP FORCING TO SOUND LIKE SOMEONE ELSE. I see now that I should actually become proud of my own voice because I always thought it does not sound so good and that turned me off on my own voice. Now I see that it takes time to develop our voices and our favorite artists are singing in their own voices so we should do the same. You have no idea how much this will help me bro THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

@@Dougzed I can't stop watching the 18 month improvement clip you showed, THERE IS A MASSIVE MASSIVE difference between the two clips,, the first one was definitely not your own voice but the second clip was AMAZING and sounded so natural. Could see that it was not forced. VERY INSPIRING AND EYE OPENING.

Hello, Doug! Thank you for your help man. Ive been singing for 3 years but always sounding too soft. Im trying to develop my voice (by using more of my 'chest' voice) but its hard even to hold a mid note. I feel like Im learning how to sing from the beggining. Thks again!
