Not sure about castling in this. Seems to just be placing your king in danger. Better to just push d3/e3 and tuck him away on d2/e2 depending on which side you want to attack.

Imagine if it was instead a 9x9 board, no pieces starting on e1/e2/e8/e9, and the single center square missing

I think e3 was a counterproductive move because playing Bf4 with the idea of exf3 would get you a pawn that is leagues better than the bishop here

Yes but he would trade with black rook

@@nikos.r still, the rook is more valuable than a knight, so even if white takes the knight, black would still be at material advantage.

you should just not read chat mid match rather then filter chat for talking about the move lol, talking about the thing your watching is the primary point of live streams

I like to interact with chat mid-game since I'm in a game around 90% of the time that I'm live. Most of the regulars have found a way to talk about the variant/position without giving me hints
