What does ethnicity got to do with it?!🙄🤦‍♂️ Many Mexicans has Filipino blood because during the Galleon trade period when Mexico and the Philippines where Spanish colonies, one quarter million Filipinos where imported to Mexico to work as the indigenous population was dying off due to foreign European diseases... just saying. Before that not just Filipinos but Polynesians intermixed with indigenous people’s along the west coast. In the Amazon there’s a tribe that can trace their genetics back to pre colonial Philippines😝

mga bata nakakatawa NOPE! Not scripted but rather sensible. The host definitely did some research about her guests. I've watched some interviewers who asked questions that does not make any sense or won't even let their guests finish answering the questions. This host doesn't just throw questions but knows how to listen as well.

@@katherinegonzalez5229 try again. Wherever she was during her reign is based on the MU Organization itinerary. She is contractually obligated to adhere to that because her title is her job. It appears they kept her in the US for so long because they very rarely have a MU as eloquent as her who can talk at length about various topics and actually keep up with the Americans' more fast paced lifestyle and schedules. Catriona never runs out of anything to say.

This is why Catriona stands out. There rarely are interviews of an MU winner that are this long because the interviewers also consider the capability of the woman to carry an entire lengthy discussion. Heck, even recent ones don't get this much time to be talked to. And we all can trust that even if this went on for even longer that Catriona will still be able to articulate herself well in ways that are varied and still sound sincere and grateful in the process. Tough act to follow.

Watching this just days after Cheslie committed suicide just shows us that THIS is what depression can “ look like”. It has no certain behavior or sign. I've seen and heard almost all of Catriona's guestings on shows and all I can say is that she is the most lively, graceful, well-poised, articulate, eloquent, clever and smart speaker and her level of confidence is really incredible. And her English is really perfect, not pidgen. Above all else, she is an elegant, glamorous and perhaps the most beautiful beauty queen of them all with a good heart. She is so proud of her country the Philippines.

Miss Catriona is beautiful, she becomes more beautiful as she speak like saying there is no academic formula to win Miss Universe...

When I first saw this interview, I thought to myself, "Ohhhh, they're so brilliant, I love seeing them in an interview together." Fast forward to 2022, "I'm still in shock that cheslie is no longer with us". ☹️

Catriona is wonderfully articulate and has so much wisdom for someone so young. She will be remembered for a very long time.

That's almost 30 mins and I've watched it from start to finish and never got bored at all. How the fvck can you ignore someone who's as very articulate like that? Cat embodies a woman of substance and her thought process is just simply mind-blowing! Thing is, she's not only INTELLIGENT AND WELL-SPOKEN, you can tell just by the looks of it that she is so SINCERE and very GENUINE in every single way! Not only is she beautiful with her angelic face, she's unbelievably nice, for an accomplished woman of her stature and what she's become, it feels like it's so easy to make friends with her when given the chance. The next MU will have a big shoes to fill and I feel bad for her this early taking into account Cat's awesomeness from start to finish, how she slayed the runway during the swimsuit and evening competition and aced all the question and answer portions up until this stage in her reign. I'm just gonna pray for the next MU though. God bless her! And if I may add, to that MGI Thailand dog who sounds like a broken record everytime she opens her mouth, IF YOU HONESTLY THINK YOU'VE ACHIEVED SO MUCH MORE THAN CATRIONA, THEN YOU'LL HAVE ALL THE RIGHT IN THE WORLD TO LOOK DOWN HER JUST LIKE THAT. BUT UNTIL THEN, YOU CAN TRY HARDER! SHAME ON YOU!😋

Just wow. Catriona sees things in a deeper perspective and I love how she expresses herself very articulately. I hope she comes back here in the Philippines and also continue to be active on all the organizations even after her reign. 💕

Catriona really is an excellent speaker. She speaks with a greater level of depth and insight compared to the more recent titleholders. Cheslie is also quite articulate as well. Looking forward to seeing them at the pageant! ps. was hoping that they would talk about the new crown but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Catriona is the ulmitmate Miss Universe. She has it all, the character, killer walk, advocacy and her intelligence❤️😍

I can feel Miss Universe 2019 will have a lot of Catriona Gray's wannabe and copycats. Girls, please be true to yourself. Be different. Catriona is Catriona, you may copy her strategy, style of hair, gown, and WALK, but you can never fake her personality.. She is bubbly, spontaneous, smart, outspoken/articulate but not awkward or OA. Also her wit, and how she answers the questions.

Confidently beautiful is the organizations tag line for quite some time even before Pia's reign. Pia upgraded ig by putting "with a heart". I love Pia though. :)

PIA is not eloquent as Catriona because she maybe very conscious if her grammar, pronunciation, enunciation are correct.

No doubt about it. The best and most lovable Miss Universe ever!
