My neighbor is a Filipino family, me and their Taytay have a beer and chill after work the kids are very respectful and helpful they call me Uncle Tee, I always get a dish of food every time they have a party, which is often. lol. I love them. Our neighborhood is much better with them around. My mailman, the nurse who took care of my mother and many other nurses and great caring teachers in Maryland are Filipinos. ALL REAL FRIENDLY, LOVING AND HAPPY PEOPLE . so you see, I know what I'm talking about.

For someone so young, Catriona has a lot of wisdom beyond her years. Kudos to her parents for raising a well-mannered young woman.

What a beautiful woman, both physically and in her heart. I love Philippine music. The Philippines have some of the best vocalist in the world! My favorite girl group in the world are the four sisters of 4th Impact, from the Philippines.

She is a one true proud Filipina! I love hearing her say " MABUHAY" in every interview she's been unlike others who just came here in the U.S and already thinks they don't know how to speak Filipino language. This is a slap to their faces!

I'm amazed at how eloquent, spontaneous and real Catriona handles all the questions. I have watched a few of her interviews and you can throw any question at her and she will answer every question with tact and never dodge any of the questions. There's so much wisdom in her answers. I didn't follow this year Miss Universe and only watched the repeat show and news a few weeks later and I have to say that she really deserved the Crown and I know she has a BIG future lies ahead of her. This is one of the best Miss Universe winners!

Every few pageants there comes along a clear winner and Ms. Gray was definitely in that category. So happy for her.

Miss Philipines, unlike the other contestants, has had experience in the Miss World competition - where she didn't make it. Miss Venuezeulla has had plastic surgery done to appear more comely. Miss Universe is not just about swaying your hips, pirouetting your bosom and pouting your lips like a cheap tart. It's a platform for a person who is authentic and sincere about helping, inspiring and uplifting others. THEREFORE...Miss South Africa should've won - she has been working in poor communities as a training doctor. She's had the vision to help others, long before entering miss Universe. She got brains - lots of it. She is a natural beauty! No plastic surgery or unethical Filipino judges on her side. She is authentic! Therefore, she deserves the crown. ... THE TRUTH ABOUT THE FILIPINO CORRUPTION WILL SURFACE, SOON!

The interviewer really seems to know the Philippines and the struggles there. At least he focused on real issues that matter 👍

During those days the local sing-along churned out numerous brand clones from the original and sold pretty well countrywide. Bad is as no international copyright were done by the original Filipino inventor, a Japanese took advantage and patented it instead. It's not wanting or lack of patriotism but actually foresight. Rest is history.

I can't say she is the best Miss Universe of all time because I didn't watch the pageant since its early years, the 50s-90s, but I could safely, surely, very certain to say that Catriona Gray is the Best Miss Universe of the Decade. Period. Best Miss Universe of the Decade.

The remix was dope and Catriona’s voice was smooth and refreshing, but looking at her eyes, I felt like she’s a bit uncomfortable singing the song with that beat because the song is not intended to be sung as such. The lyrics in the verses convey a deep message and has sentimental value for Cat, so can’t blame her for cutting the song way too early.
