Wow, these guys are pundit's ? Man utd played a game with admission of being crap and changed tactic due to new manager (weell done Carrick) - that was a good result for Man Utd and very lucky - Chelsea should of smashed them.New manager Incoming for Man utd - will be exciting.

@@slaybial1 Every team has different style of play some, absorb pressure then hit on the break, some gengenpress from the on the front football and some play possession foot with and without the gengenpress. With that being said each manager has their own philosophy and don't have to conform to gengenpress. Zidane's Real Madrid beat Klopp's Liverpool with the gengenpress in the Champions League. What is my point? Playing gengenpress is not an automatic win there's still alot of strategy involved. If a manager setup to beat the press then that team is in trouble. Some team press all the time some team choose when to press.

Let's be realistic, if Liverpool didn't have chemistry issues we wouldn't have gotten close to where we were laat year. Scholes is absolutely right. United midfield isn't near to the level of city, Liverpool or Chelsea's. Owen and others just trying to make a fuss as always but the quality in United's midfield is not there and hence can't go toe to toe with such strong opponents. They're clearly forced to play that way.

Man united problem is very easy to fix. They need to buy two reliable midfielders. Secondly, they need to sell Fred and Matic. Thirdly, they need to buy another two reliable defenders. Fourthly, they need to put Harry Maguire on the bench and allow him to fight for his position, just as Pep Guardiola did to Raheem Sterling. Finally, they need to buy a right back that would challenge Wan Bissaka. Do that and you fix Man United.

Micheal is also right though, klopp never changed. Even when we were losing to teams we shouldn't, conceideding dumb goal. He drilled the system in and it worked but that will be the new managers job not carricks

Scores a goal in the Euro final and thinks his shit doesn't stink. As a left sided player myself, I've seen Shaw live a few times and every time his positional play has been shambolic. Jose was not wrong in his assessment of Luke Shaw. The less we say about Maguire, the better.

Not sure what Hoddle’s point was. It was always going to be a “keep it tight and keep your concentration” type affair from United’s viewpoint. The run of form is horrendous by the clubs standards and the slide needed to be arrested. They have done that. They aren’t going to play that way every week and I think he knows that and it’s a little salty Chelsea failed to win. He mentions United capitalising on a schoolboy error but Sancho did extremely well to gamble on that from so deep. Chelsea’s penalty wasn’t exactly stone wall either.

I could see lights bothering Jorghi being a problem. But I don't blame him for this result. That goal wasn't even entirely his fault. Our entire backline was caught ball watching and left it to him. Actually this wasnt Tuchel's best game. Not the right starting lineup. Which became obvious well before halftime. I expected the usual Tuchel spot on tactical changes at the half, and wouldn't have been surprised *at all* if Mount and Pulisic came in then. At some point you have to admit that Werner's misses and bad decisions aren't bad luck. In any case Tuchel waited too long for his substitutions. P and M at 60' and Lukaku at 75' latest! And putting Pulisic far away from goal... and Lukaku. Not brilliant. Still... we got a point.
