You have to admit though, he added something to Chelsea. Those cups, those matches and those players all are a testament to their success. I remember watching those matches on MOTD on Saturday nights and there's no doubt about it that Abramovich made something out of his time at Chelsea. I hope he is to be remembered fondly and not his political views.

I don't care what anyone detrimental says about Abramovich, he was the best thing to ever happen to Chelsea FC. With him it was never just about the money, he cared about the Club itself, he wanted to win trophies and he also wanted to see the Chelsea Supporters happy. To think Chelsea were 17 minutes away from going under, before he took over and look at them now. When his War is over, CFC should see about getting a statue erected in his honor, because he would certainly deserve it. I also think it is a disgrace the way the UK Government treated him, when you consider how much he contributed to the UK Economy.

What an era. As a kid in the early 00s, i was the only Chelsea fan in my area before the Abramovitch era. I told my dad to get me the Fly Emirates shirt as a kid. Me and my friends who supported rival teams grew up watching this era of football. Some great times when the original top 4 came about.
