It needs patience and time to be consistent, fans support also needs to be consistent as well. Given all the hate players like Mount , Kepa etc get from a section of fans when they under perform. Even though Gilmour was great today, he is young and his performance will not be consistent like other young players, fans need to be patient, Lampard is trying to do something great here, it won't happen over night.

well this was always going to be a tough year, Lampard could finish us 7th and that would still be a fantastic achievement given the transfer ban and loss of Hazard, Morata and David Luiz, consistency will come, half of our players are all really young and performing incredibly for their age

If not he is the first one to throw the towel in the ring, sometimes within 30 minutes... And he has a hard time playing more than one match a week, especially for a longer time period. He's physically just not capable enough to play in the Premier League. You'll see!

Someone may ask themselves what brought such these great performances recently, and this is my answer for myself. - Firstly, I'm so happy that Chelsea eventually changed their play style. No so rush all through the game, more standing defence, average tempo. I assume this change helped the team play more balanced and cautious, so the players reserved enough stamina for key attack moves and defenses. As a result, a clean sheet. - Second, Kepa is a good goalkeeper, we don't need a new one please. His poor figure before was caused by the previous playstyle, not himself. - Finally, I want to see more calm on their faces like in this game, before they usually looked worried, too agressive, which brought to negative psychological effect. Play calmly and coolly is definitely better.

The forward was LIT💙💙💙Willian,Pedro,Giroud,Mout+ Barkly... forever blues

I've been a Chelsea fan for more than 12 years. And this was the first (and hopefully not the last) match that I've watched from the Bridge. It was an amazing experience and an amazing game. Screen Daddy I’ll be devastated if he leaves. I want to see him finish his career at Chelsea, he’s one of my favourite players. I have a sinking feeling he will though, he’s getting less game time cuz Lampard bringing the younger lads in. I think it’s important we keep some experienced players like him around as that’s how the younger ones will learn

Gilmour is literally what made this team better defensively and offensively the past two games. He initiates plays at the right times and slows the game down at the right times, he covers so much ground on the pitch, the boy is everywhere, his passing technique is elite, and the most important thing of it all is that it he makes it look so easy, only the world class players make it look easy, honestly this guy is a gem, just pray he doesn’t get any injuries the way Ruben and Callum did when they started shining and he continues playing like this for years to come. Chelsea academy is looking extremely good.
