I laughed out loud when he got nervous about eating a whole banana with his night time protein shake because he didn't want to overdo it. He already overdid it by noon. Also only sleeping 2-3 hours a night has to be just as dangerous as eating more than most families do in a day.

Did you ever watch Deadliest Catch? Those fishermen who only had like 8 or 12 weeks to get their King Crabs every year would sleep 4hrs at a time max and offset this with thousands of calories every day. But they all said to a man it wasn't sustainable. And without to be too discerning to our chef, I imagine their jobs are much tougher physically and mentally. So yeah I always use those guys as a measuring stick for when people talk about lack of sleep vs calories.

This guy has been such an inspiration for me. I've started waking up every morning, at 6:30pm the previous night. I do 10,000 one armed muscle ups while meditating, then after a tomahawk steak around 8:15pm, while snorting 6 grams of coffee I switch over to single toe, two thumbed deadlifts for 5 sets of 920. For my 10:30pm light snack I eat two shipping containers of duck eggs with a protein shake IV. Then comes breakfast at 12:00am. I dismember 3 cows barehanded, butcher all the cuts for freshness and blend in with some oatmeal, and make sure to eat the hearts raw for that natty cysteine. By that time I'm ready for my warm up routine at 7:00am. I drag city buses back and forth in a sandpit with my teeth for about 30 sets of 115. By 9:30am it's already time for my 11 o' clock meal. Then at 2:00pm, it's pre-lunch. I polish off a small to medium sized non-residential broccoli farm, raw of course, adding in a couple of parmesan cheese wheels. Then it's workout time at 4:00pm. I like to compress my 16 hour workout into 4 chunks of 8 hour sets, so my circuits end up being 30 minutes each for six 3 hour intervals, mainly just to maintain the pump. Then by 9:30pm, it's already 9:45am. Time for dinner. I like to travel to the Equitorial wetlands to wrestle a water buffalo and eat it feet first from the bottom up while it's still breathing, usually with another protein shake with half a banana. Then at 11:15pm, I chug the downpour of a cement truck filled with mayonnaise and paprika. And then after working all day, at around 3:00am, I'm back in the gym at 9:30pm, which means it's time for my 4:30am pre-breakfast, post pre-post workout smoothie. Then I get a quick nap in which consists of 2 eye blinks, 3 sets for 1 1/2 reps, then it's back at it again at 11:00pm the next morning. And if you guys learn anything at all from me, the most important takeaway is, keep your banana intake low.

There's a reason the longest living people are of normal weight and not overexerting themselves. Even when it comes to food intake more than needed is worse. Dark chocolate is calorie city. its like eating lard out of a wrapper. a good way to be active and still hit calorie goals (will shift your macros to low-carb though). Dates are basically the carb-equivalent to dark chocolate. Loaded with carbs. Honestly; dark choc +date fruit + whey protein is probably the convenience triad of macros. Extremely dense foods, extremely easy to consume. And you get a decent amount of micros + fiber from the chocolates and dates. The triad shouldn't be your entire diet obviously but if you include them it should never be hard to hit your macros or calories. (and I know protein powder is a no-brainer but it helps thinking of it as a triad)

World record for push-ups in one day is 46,001 and that was in a 21 hour time span, which is roughly 2,190 push-ups in an hour. 2,200 push-ups in an hour is feasible. Doing this at a moderate to vigorous rate as a 285 lb man will burn approximately 1137-2394 calories in that hour at that pace. That still leaves 7,500 - 8,800 calories to burn. If you take 20 minutes on average to prepare and eat each meal to avoid indigestion and you eat 8 meals a day, and only sleep for 3 hours, you're going to have 17 hours to burn those and that equates to approximately 440-520 calories per hour and that's non-stop. If you only use 1/2 to 3/4 of that time to work out, leaving 1/4 - 1/2 of the time to rest and recuperate, that doubles or triples the required calories to burn per hour. I'll admit that I'm only a layman, but for me those numbers just don't add up.

The only branches in the Military that are always honest and loyal on what they did in the Military and will tell you about their Military Jobs are the #1 is The (Marines) #2 is the (Coast Guard) and #3 is (The Air Force). Those will always be telling you their jobs on what they did in their service and explain more details and info about it and will never be full of shit to you at all. Trust me I know because my whole family on my Father's side are all Marines, Marines Veterans and some in the Air Force or Air Force Veterans as well and they still have connections to friends and people on both of these services if you ever thinking of joining in or have questions about their Jobs Opportunities and Education Opportunities as well.

I laughed so hard at "imagine being drug tested as a chef" as a life long chef over 90% of the people I worked with would fail for something

Normal drug panels don’t test for anabolics. It’s a pretty expensive and cumbersome thing to full panel someone for PED’s

I think he intended it as a ped drug test not a recreational drug test. Wouldn’t be too surprised if the White House actually did drug test their employees.

I also eat 1,200 grams of protein every day. I also need a new toilet every other day. I also am an anime main character that grows stronger by training without any regeneration or sleep. I also have a liver and kidney transplant from specifically designed human clones every year. Everything in this clip sounds absolutely legit to me.

It's IMPOSSIBLE to live on 3hrs of sleep. When I lost my arm (a rusty hood ripped it off), I got about 4 hrs of sleep when my body finally shut down. The Dr's we're very worried and I learned a lot about lack of sleep. It's not cancer, your organs literally start shutting down. I forget what order, but it's a specific order that starts around 4 days of no sleep. Now if he's actually sleeping 3 hrs, it's probably just enough to keep organ failure from happening though dementia like meth users up for days seems more likely.

The weird thing is how Derek always acts like he doesn't know what b-roll is. He says, "um, what's it called? b-roll?" I just want to shake him, like dude you've been making YT vids for years & we all know what b-roll is, so you don't need to carry the gym-bro act so far that you're pretending to have poor vocabulary 🤔🤣
