I love how the mommy cheetah makes that call to the baby cheetah to be fed. Its so adorable i love watching videos of the babies with their mothers.

Loved loved loved this series. Watch every single episode ever made with my dad. We were massive fans of this. I remember watching this for the first time and when we found out toto had died I cried for like 2 days lol Wish BBC would make another Big Cat series. Never watched a better documentary.

For starters, it's illegal and just as wrong as getting in between a hungry predator and a sure meal. Cheetahs have the highest success rate in hunts. They're doing fine in comparison to lions and tigers. The fact that many cheetah cubs don't live to adulthood isn't a new phenomenon. It's always been the case.

why cant we just interfere in nature and help save those cheetahs.... when they become extinct we would all regret it.....i think nature needs our help sometimes :P it would be really sad if these beautiful creatures (cheetah) goes extinct and we all just sit down there and watch and do nothing.

cheetah dads dont raise the cubs. same as leopards.

Cheetahs are endangered because of loss of habitat in the African savannas that has been shrinking.

Cheetahs are critically endangered, they are extinct in over a dozen African countries they were abundant in until a hundred years ago. Predators, particularly the human kind are the reason for their decline. Today people become internet present on the backs of pet cheetahs. One couple keeps "Gerda" in what is simply a wood panelled garden shed with access to an outside cage. They also keep a puma in the house. Their extinctions are on our watch.

@raysima - because nature can't be controlled? I think man is surprisingly arrogant given his very small space in the infinite universe of which he has no real understanding.
