This was filmed in San Diego in 1978. They were released on VHS in the early 80's on two tapes called "Cheech & Chong Perform" and "Cheech & Chong Perform Again?!" They're really rare today.

"Red" was on stage in the movie telling about "Delbert Dumbbutt" going to Mexico and asking the mexican feller with the donkey what time it was. Love that one! 🤣👍👍🤘

This was sketch comedy at its best. I sure wish I was alive back then and I would be coming up with good stuff.

This is proper comedy at its very best!! Here in Europe I never got to see them, but early 80s I did have some of their records (Sleeping Beauty, Los Cochinos... I still got them too! 👍) and they really were funny as hell - still are 🤣

I'm from la jolla! .. Lucky crowd, I went to Comedy store on my 21st birthday and it sucked compared to this!. This is from the era my family hated the panikin coffe shop and all those trendy coffee shops for charging too much for a cup if coffee, when you could make it at home..
