Checkmate with Knight & Bishop #1: Chess Endgame Strategy, Moves & Tricks to Win Fast | Puzzle

Checkmate with a Knight, a Bishop & a King in the Endgame. Do you think this is difficult? No, it isn't. I have a very easy & simple chess strategy for you all. In this chess tutorial, I will show you some step-by-step moves that you need to play to win this game fast. The trick is to co-ordinate with all your pieces to restrict your opponent's moves, avoid stalemate and finally mate the white/black king in the correct corner within 50 moves. In this chess video, you will learn the best method to win these type of endgames. Here are some basic tips:
1. Control the center with all your pieces
2. Drag your opponent's king to an edge of the board by using the idea of restriction
3. Push the opponent's king to the correct corner
4. Limit him to the corner 2 squares only
5. Avoid stalemate
6. And finally Checkmate your opponent with your bishop
I also have a special surprise for you in this video. It's a face reveal video. You get to see the Face Behind Chess Talk - Jeetendra Advani.
In the second part of this video, I will cover how to drag your opponent out of the wrong corner & then achieve a checkmate. I also have an interesting Chess Puzzle for you at the end of this video. Let's see if you can solve that.
If you have any questions, feel free to post them in the comments below. I will be happy to answer & help you out.

One of the very many important things he said BUT in a slightly different context is piece coordination. This is MOST important once the opponent's king is on the side of the board. Make SURE your knight complements/coordinates with your bishop by placing your knight on a square that allows your knight to control squares your bishop can't control on the side of the board. It's not just enough placing your knight in-between your king and the opponent's king (before the W knight move), The knight MUST be controlling squares of opposite color to your bishop. Thanks for the video!!

For the puzzle, Rb6. If the pawn captures, you promote, otherwise, this is pretty much the only way to try to attack the knight while still protecting your own pawn, and if black moves their knight off that square, you can proceed to the 7th rank to attack the pawn. Anything else would pretty much lead to a knight/rook endgame, of which I will never ever know if it's a drawn position or a winning position :)

Chess puzzle Move rook to b7. Knight takes rook .Pawn takes knight.now there is no way to block the promotion of pawn to queen .from then we can easily win. Or Move rook to b6.if pawn takes rook .Move pawn from and promote to queen as black cannot block promotion. If knight takes pawn .Then take knight with rook.then whatever the move black moves take the pawn.and checkmate with rook and king. I hope this is real solution .By the way your this tutorial with face is nice and nice video.keep rocking.👌👌👌👍👍👍

Puzzle:- Rook to b6, black can't take rook because white pawn will simply queen, white pawn is also protected, if knight moves anywhere , simply rook b7 and black pawn is gone, if he makes any move with his king, then rook c6, kicking away the knight and then rook to c7, attacking the pawn, there's no way for knight to come back to save the pawn, even after any checks if it comes back to b5, then simply b7, again kicking the knight away and winning the pawn , so that's a win for white

Rb6 is the best move. 2 variations are possible- 1) axb6,a7...Now whatever move black plays, nothing can be done from promoting a7 pawn to queen, after which white will win easily. 2) If black doesn't accept Rb6 sacrifice, then in next move white can play Rb7, capture black pawn and win easily.

Rb6 is the solution to the puzzle. This allows you to protect your own pawn which gives you the clear advantage in this position. If axb6, you can simply play a7 and the pawn cannot be stopped. I hope this is right haha

8:30 this might be my inexperience but wouldn’t it be easier to move knight to D6. Forcing King to A8 as it’s only legal move. Then moving Bishop to D5 forcing checkmate. Again I’m sorry if this is wrong, I’m just a young guy who likes to play chess

  • @masboss4456

Moving your knight to d6 there is not a legal move. It would have to be Nd7+ which would block your bishop and allow the king to start escaping via d8

Best move for the puzzle is rook b6, because if pawn takes, you promote your pawn to a queen and win against knight and king, and if knight takes pawn, you take knight and pawn then just win with rook and king and any other knight move results also in a rook and king vs king

  • @Justin84W

Move your rook to b7 and the knight will capture the rook. Then, the pawn captures the knight and becomes a queen.

PUZZLE ANSWER: sacrificing the rook, here the best move is Rb6. aim to this move is that to open the pawn line to further it will convert into the queen. after Rb6 black will obviously capture the rook then we just push the pawn by playing a7. then black has no more option to stop developing the queen. then we will easily win the game with the queen.

Rb6. If the pawn takes, then it frees your pawn for queening since the knight can't stop it. If the knight takes the pawn, then you take the knight and it's an easy win. If black plays a random move with the knight, then go Rb7 and take the pawn. If he stalls with the king, then move your king up to attack the knight (note he can't move his king to the C file, or he loses the knight). P.S. Straight Rb7 doesn't work, because Nxa6 and Rxa7 is technically a draw, especially since the white king has little mobility.
