Great overview! I think we have very similar taste in guitars - I play a Shawn Lane Vigier and have been keeping an eye out for the Bumblefoot guitar though it seems very difficult to find one now that Vigier has stopped making guitars. I think Bumblefoot is very underrated. I am curious how you find it in comparison to the Shawn Lane guitar? I pretty much haven't played any other guitar than the Shawn Lane one in 10+ years now and I'm wondering how much I would notice the different scale length and fretboard radius.

Thank you! Yes, Bumblefoot is insanely underrated. He has such an insane amount of skill that it's scary. Technique, innovation, songwriting, singing, production, perfect pitch and a killer work ethic. I have a lot of respect for him. Yet somehow I don't hear a lot of people give him credit. The main difference is probably just the feel of the neck and the different pickup choices. They're both very nice, but feel slightly different because of the flat radius on the SL model. Though I think I prefer the scale length on the Bumble. I found my picking hand would sit at a kind of a different spot closer to the neck and it felt different to "normal" guitars. I assume it was because of the scale length. But the SL has the ability to float the trem, which I liked. But both amazing guitars really. Thank you for watching!

@@candydude2360 I was very lucky and got it for a ridiculous price of only 9500 NOK. But I did end up selling it for 23 000 to a fellow Bumblefoot fan. I just found myself using other guitars more often. I do miss the killswitch though! Cool to hear from other Bumblefoot fans here! Yeah, he and Guthrie are on such a ridiculous level. Truly amazing!
