My favorite comedian. Brilliantly executed material.

This is by far one of his best bits - although condensed for TV.

This bit was so much longer and funnier in person.

Regan is one of the few reasons of hope we have.

Brian has a lot of material. many comedians have ones set that they repeat throughout their careers. I don't know how they have careers, no matter how well their jokes are delivered.

Omg Brian never fails to crack me up. Truly one of the best comedians ever!

As a hotel worker I can confirm that peiple do actually make reservations under their name but then send someone else to check in

@@noahclark7603 dominos does online pay for some of their orders. Depending on the order you can just walk in, look at their pizza tracker screen, say "yep that guy's me" and walk away with free pizza. idk why companies think it's smart to allow stupid stuff like this.

Honestly yes lol I worked in hotels for years and he’s not understanding why we ask what we ask. I have guests come up all the time saying they have a reservation but they don’t in my system. I always ask “is it possible the reservation is under a different name?” You’d be surprised how many times people so “oh wait did I tell you it’s for hdjxudbdhdbdb? Try jones.” And there it is, under jones. I’m sure every hotel front desk agent can relate

Worked in hotels for a very long time, and a majority of the time, the issue actually is the customer's own fault, or someone booked one their behalf, or worst of all, they booked through a 3rd party booking service instead of booking through the hotel directly. Anyway, still a funny bit.

​@@corv2731 I've also made this mistake meeting my friend before her wedding (though more understandable since I didn't book it). "Oh, right it's probably under his name. Uhhh I don't know his last name... She isn't answering her phone..." Worked out in the end, they were able to find his first name and call up for me and check.

I love the fact he's "clean". But that comes to show that he's actually FUNNIER than all the other comics cause he doesn't need perversion or crude language to be funny. Also, joeybtoonz is hilarious as well, and he's pretty clean. He is not as clean as Brian but he's funny as hell. 😂

He's the funniest person I've ever seen. His humor speaks to a part of my soul where laughs are kept. In my book he can make absolutely anything funny, even cheating spouses, cancer and murder, just to name a few. I don't want to be the jackass who tries to correct the entertainer, but there are people who can and do register under assumed names simply so they can't be tracked down too easily, like huge stars, etc.. Who knows, perhaps it's a compliment?😉

I have a sheet of paper that printed when I made the reservation and prepaid for the room. I show it to the desk clerk, and he/she usually asks, "What is your name?" Make it simple for them, and they still read the script.

I work at a hotel and my pet peeve is people who print out their confirmation number and had it to me just tell me your last name. It’s aggravating trying to read Afrikaans when you’re trying to start the check in process

I work in hotels, you would be surprised how many times the reservation is under another name.. some people don’t even know if it’s paid for or what room type they booked..!! I wonder how they put on their pants in the morning!!!

I work at a hotel and people’s reservations are under different names all the time. Like if their hotel room was booked by a friend, family member, coworker, employer, secretary etc etc. ps I love regan, not trying to hate, just saying.

I figure the "other name" thing, though, is sadly relevant thanks if nothing else to people deciding to share a room or suite and having someone besides the person who made the reservation handle the checking in...and not taking the proper trouble to communicate between themselves beforehand. In food service, I'll have people give me just a last name to pick up an online order, when the only information the computer considers safe to share with us is a first name and an initial. And even though that should be easy to clear up and confirm, there's always that look of horror on their face when you don't immediately say yes to that first name they say and you don't have it under.

Hi Ken, a similar joke but his was at Starbucks and was about his name written on his cup and his credit card. He said his name was Glarbsttentenford. He said it was his nickname because his little sister couldn't pronounce Dennis and it came out as Glarbsttentenford🤣 Can you imagine what it was like in their household growing up with both Dennis and Brian? Must have been hilarious

My reply: "Did you happen to ENTER me under someone else's name? I typed in my name correctly, did you or one of your colleagues happen to process my name incorrectly? Why am I asking? dude is hilarious, actually it's a reasonable question, and it's probably not the counter guy/gals fault the reservation was f-cked up, but you can't kill the greedy ceo or board of directors for cutting back on staff and quality assurance, TO MAKE MORE MONEY FOR INVESTORS... *(I.E. THEMSELVES)* so sometimes the counter guy gets the frustration blowback. not fair we all know, so what do you do? well you unionize of course. you raise taxes on the rich, you ban billionaires from society. that's a start.

By accident when the person who made the reservation uses their spouses loyalty number, etc etc... Theres a ton of reasons... When I ask if its in another name, I hear "absolutely not" ALL THE TIME and it is often in someone elses name.

One person doesn't have a sense of humor.

Apparently you haven't met all the customers I have. Mostly they have some incompetent relative book it on some third party site with their own credit card rather than type in the guest name they type in their own name. Then there is the company travel rep that books in employees completely unaware of the employees actual last name or how it might be spelled. It's pathetic and happens all the friggen time. Or the reservation is made on a cell phone that constantly cuts out and we give it our best guess and gave up on the address and phone number after saying "What? What? What...after some 357 times before the cell phone dies off completey. And F and S sound the same over the phone as do D and B. The joys of that new fangled thing called the cell phone and the idiots that book online who can't even type in their own name correctly. How would you type a name that sounds like Chew but is spelled Tsu. There...some new material for you.

Hotel workers can't find your reservation bc people use google and see the "cheapest price" which is usually for a random date in the far future . Anybody even trying that yippidy doo dah crap would be asked to leave.

He doesn't do as good on talk shows some reason. He's way funnier than this.

this is hilarious, but surprising he would choose a premise that easily debunked from the onset of the joke, especially with him being a celebrity. tons of VIPs and famous people check in hotels under pseudonyms to protect their identity. or a stalker/contract killer who needs to maintain his alibi.

i don't think we're on the same page. "did you by chance make the reservation under another name?" "and why would i have done that? has anyone ever done that in the history of making hotel reservations?" the answer is: YES - if you're a VIP, famous, or just someone trying to remain incognito for any number of reasons. musicians are notorious for checking in under different names to maintain anonymity from fans.

Nope, definitely not on the same page. The point isn't about making it under another name it's about the hotel claiming you forgot what name you made it under.

This started to be funny and turned annoying for me towards the end. Gotta check his other stuff

this comedy sucks. who ever finds him funny has never watched stand up. this is corny.
