I think that you may still be a little confused. If the dot on top come back to the same place each time that means that the ball is very off balance. If the dot is in a different lace each time then the ball has good balance.....

The heavy part will always spin out to the equator. If you get different results each time then the ball is balanced, which is good! Thanks for the tip to drill the pen hole larger so a sharpie will fit!

Yes indeed ....there was me, thinking the balls that didn't repeat weren't good balls 😇 ...Ah yeah ....now I can use some different coloured sharpies as well 😎

I have a “check go pro” as well. I balance all my balls. Once I spin them and mark it, I have to assume it will fly true. The ball is spinning at 10,000 rpm’s! Usually when I drive it the line points in the direction of my strike. I would think if it is marked in multiple locations along the ball, it’s balanced all the way around. Maxfli Tour & X are spun by the manufacture! Titleist Pro V’s seem to be very consistent to the manufacturers mark, probably because of its quality control! Thanks

Ooh nice! Didn't know there was a pro one 😎 Yeah, it makes more sense ....big weight on the side, and it's definitive... when it comes out in different places, it makes sense that the core is more centred 👌 Ooh, I didn't know that about the Maxfli!!! Don't see them in the UK I don't think 🤔

@@FredzGolf Wilson Triad (its balanced layers) and the Maxfli Straightfli (its dimple pattern)have interesting characteristics that are suppose to make them fly true. I play the Wilson ball(s), Triad, Staff, and Zip.

dun get it , if the heavy side (CG) is at the bottom, shouldn't the putt line be drawn from the top where the dot is marked, rather than on the side??

The weight is on the equator mark .....I put a giant ball of lead tape and glued it on to guarantee where the weight is 😁
