I don't know if it's just sort of a quark of how you speak. But when you read these scripts it sounds so utterly unenthusiastic and corny (as it should, because these games are trash and cringe). But yeah I get a kick out of that. Don't know if it's something you do on purpose or realize. But it's funny.

Turn off a cheaters ability to cause harm, let him be killed by another player, place the cheater in a chair and tell him that the player that killed him was a cheater. Then say you're going to ban the other guy, but before you do so, tell him you need to do a check on both the player's and cheater's background as a precaution and watch him sweat.

It would be hilarious to set-up a trap cell with buttons to several doors with shotgun traps behind each and use a jigsaw voice changer and torment them to "play a game." They'd have to choose the right button not to get banned, but none of the buttons would actually let them out. 😂

These are my favorite of your videos. The ones you talk to these misguided kids and try to explain to them how slippery of a slope cheating is. How it speaks about your character, how you view yourself and others view you. Yeah I know some of the cheaters are just toxic but you are in a prime spot to turn these kids “life” around and help them grow up into good morale folk. Great job Camomo

It's pretty much the reason I watch.

Suggestion for Camomo: Do a “server survey” where you gather information about the server (best part, worst part, how is the discord, etc) from cheaters. Then, ask them what they think about cheaters in rust, and ask what they think should be done to cheaters. Then do to them whatever they said should be done (or just ban them lol)

You asked at the end of your video "what would you like to see me do to these guys". Well, I think the "Land Shark" is fun, as is the "Rocket up the Bum" gag, but to be honest, I'd just like to see you go old school. I think it would be funny if you'd just watch the direction they are running, and place a Bear Trap in their path (perhaps in a bush). IF you space out your ambushes, they probably won't catch on all that quickly and think someone just plastered them in the area. It would be both funny for us, and very frustrating for them (and of course, their frustration would grow into a rage). I know it's very low tech, but sometimes the simple things can be great too.

Camomo being a Rust admin long before he began monetizing it is a testament to how successful people in life are where they are, and those that want to immediately rush to the top. You have to put in the leg work first.

when i was admin, my fav thing to do was no clip straight up while spamming tp to me untill they got fly hacked. but that was long ago, rust might not freez up nemore when you get fly hacked. they usually would have to restart and that ment 15min at least.

A while back I quit playing online because of cheaters. No stopping them, no administration plaguing them. Ruined a game completely online. Rust wouldn't be running right now without admins. Good on you sir for keeping things honest.....and the cheaters crying.

I love your work Camomo, i wish you and your family the best. I hate cheaters with passion, the only sad thing is that most of them are playing with stolen/compromised accounts. This way they are not only ruining the day of the player base, but also the account owner's. I don't want to get personal because nobody is interested, but I lost all my skins, and got a gameban... all because a skin trade site got hacked and leaked my login credentials. This is why I encourage everyone to use a strong password with 2FA, and to always log out of tradings site after trading. All this caused that i can't play my favorite game any more, since if i make an other account and buy the game again, i would be branded as a ban evader. Your videos always make me happy that there are still people that give cheaters what they deserve. Sorry for my English, it's not my first language. :D -A long time follower

The guy you were talking to at 8:42 / 31:06 may actually be a legit player. Something similar happened to me but on call of duty modern warfare. I was modding singleplayer gta5 on my pc and it required a dll injector in order to inject the mods. Nevertheless I had thought I closed out of the dll injector before hopping on modern warefare but it was secretly open in the background. When I did get on, I joined a game and got instantly perm banned, had to create a new account and start scratch.

hearing them saying "that's not fair" when they're blatantly cheating makes them sounds like an idiot. lol

I really enjoy these videos so much. Good job at keeping our Rust servers free of cheaters. :)

Just an idea Put them in a maze and have bradley chase them to the end. Should they fly or clip, it is an immediate ban. When they make it to the end, they get a "lesser ban" (not really, but that is up to you), and if they get killed, then that is tough luck with admin abuse.

I figured out a bug on accident, if you put someone at a poker table, and ent.kill the table, it’ll crash their rust. Not 100% positive if they have to be in the game as it breaks, but I believe it just is seated at the table, nice little fun way to throw a middle finger to the cheaters before banning em.

As someone who has played Rust since early 2014 with thousands of hours, it is comedic to see the number of people who have elaborate reasons they accidentally got game banned. I've gone through 3 gaming PCs since 2014 and still haven't even gotten a vac ban much less a game ban. It's not hard to be legit. lol You just download the game and play it... ez.

I hope he will get a chance to get two cheaters at once and cage them together and fight to the death then ban when they are ready.

If I was camomo I would run an experiment. I would do the no damage toggle on cheaters and their groups then let them play never alerting them. Allowing them to invest their time into base building and then inevitably rage quiting when the first little solo immortal Timmy comes by and just takes over their fort. Harder to make content this way. But it would be fun to see and to be the Timmy would be great.
