It's also the time in cooling, faster cooling takes more energy for the Dometic.

I just don’t see a reason for the higher price Dometic. I mean other than the latch feeling a bit off it sounds like the Amazon one is a much better deal. The key factor here is longevity so I guess we will see. Thanks for the review.

I would have to agree. The Dometic does feel like a better built fridge, but will it last twice as long for twice the price? My friend has the Amazon fridge so well do a long term update in a year and see how they have held up. Thank you for your input, glad you enjoyed the review.

You are very welcome! Yea, the features of the cheaper amazon fridge are really hard to beat, I have to admit that. Just give it a little time, they always come back in stock. :)

Thanks for the video Mark very helpful. We were about to move forward with the Amazon fridge but noticed that the specs on Amazon show it to have a total length of 35" (29' fridge body + 6" external condenser) the one in your video seems a lot shorter in length? Do you know if they are different? For our build 2D rubicon that 35" is about 6" too long. Any help is appreciated

Your welcome! I can’t remember the overall length. I feel like they are pretty close. Dometic has the exact dimensions on their website. The Dometic has a huge advantage in that you can move the compressor setup around a bit. Either to the side or remote mount it.

Lol, in Australia the Dometic is the cheap fridge

The fridge will cut off at 10.8v because Lithium batteries BMS cut the cells off at 10.8V, if the cheapy continues to drain after this point it will damage your battery if you are using Lead acid / AGM, so the cutoff voltage is not important.

Incorrect. Cut off is still important because draining a Lead acid/AGM more than 50% can permanently damage them.

Do you have measurements for the edhbay? I'm seeing contradictory numbers and one measurement will fit and the other won't.

I cant seem to find them. From my memory it’s about the same size as the dometic. Very close if memory serves.
