I have a nice 2 bedroom apartment in pasig...includes a seperate laundry room, gated front door and nice balacony, also everything is ceramic tile with modern kitchen cabinets. 9500 php a month, water 400 php and electric (no ac) 1200 php a month. I've been renting since November 2020 and the beautiful thing is the rent never increases.

That street was actually pretty quiet not much people walking there except tenants. There's security on guard 24/7 when I stayed there

i hope to be there by sept this year. if the 8k is available then i will take one and live there on a month to month till i discover a bigger place for the same price. but for now the size and location is enough for me to like this place. again thank u for making this vlog. i watched your videos daily as i want to see the ongoing life in angeles city specially in the walking street area. i hope from time to time you will video the bars in the perimeter road between 3pm to 6pm when most of them are open. most vloggers in angeles city do not pay attention to this neglected bar area . however i believe it just need the exposure in you tube so newcomers will visit them when they are in town. thank you and i will look you up and your gf when i made it in town. tony montoya, arizona usa

Thanks David! We don't know why that guy fell, but they say he wanted to fight in a bar and was asked to leave the bar. Maybe someone pushed him and he hit his head. Yes, there are small changes on Walking Street, a couple of new bars have opened and this shavarma.

Very good till you get your feet on the ground it's a good place to stay and doesn't cost you too much it looks like it's guest friendly you don't have to go through reception very good

@@xpusostomos I remember water and electricity being mentioned in a message posted later , but what I am really on about is "get everything up front" before you hand over money. If me , I would repeat back to her/him what the desk person said to me , then say "anything else , any extra's" ? THE PROBLEM with extra's like water and electricity THEY can come up with any figure they like. To make life difficult for them (to try and get honesty : ) I would say something like : 'You (water and electricity) have SEPERATE METERS yes ? And then go and look at the (non existent , lol) seperate meters , lol. I reckon they make more profit from the water and electricity. Could be huge if say 10/20 tenants , then opportunities to pick up thousands more. ha ha Headache you say ? I say "fun" , make it into a fun game , and if they can not show sep meters , tell them you want to pay rent which INCLUDES estimated water and electricity (hell of a lot of places around the world do that , hell of a lot). So then they quote rent which includes their estimate of elec and water. If that sounds reasonable , then I would say something like "OK thats FINAL nothing else to pay" And if he/she agrees : 1. They know your not a mug 2. They can not con/trick/defraud you on the 'extra's. Extra's are an instrument for a con , I would say, going on past experiences , I have had , lol. Then YOU have got it under control , and can sleep at night , that there will be no unpleasant surprises , at the end of the month. Pay only ONE MONTH in advance. Bring in lots of girls , and see what they do about that. They might try and charge you for overnight guests , saying to you : "You paid for one person , but many times there was two persons in your room" ha ha. All the above might not happen. Let them know from outset , your no sucker. Mention that you will be bringing in girls , and see if they say anything about that eg "Girls not allowed" ha ha. Normally its not a nightmare like that , but if they think your a sucker , they might try and take advantage of you. If any probs just tell them "Candy Man told me so" : )

@@candyman4960 the big row of electricity meters is fairly prominant. Usually the water meter is obvious too, but I didn't look for it. For me I consider it an advantage to pay separately because if I want to leave for a month and come back, it should be zero for that period, but if I get all inclusive price then I pay anyway. Since this room has a separate entrance that's like 100m from the front desk along the road, they'd have a hell of a time regulating the number of girls I have. I can park my car 1m from my door, so could easily smuggle 20 girls in, lol. Worst case if it doesn't suit my style I can always move on.

This is we’re Philippines loses out to Thailand big time, they’ve seriously got no idea about trying to make a room look nice , they might be cheap, but no thank you

Oh boy ! Rooms in England (for tourists etc) the WORST in the world (been to many countries). It's a wonder they dont charge extra for bugs and fleas. Not uncommon for me to wake up in UK with swelling lumps from "bed bugs". England country and people , great to visit , but it's a "bring your own bed" country : )

The pool is nice, it seems to be quiet at least during the day, and the front desk lady is pleasant. I don't know if it is such a good value because it seems like they nickel and dime you on the extras. I wonder how it is at night: looks sketchy.

Yeh 'extra's"are used as a 'sucker punch' in Phils. Dont sign anything , if they dont live up to the verbals , walk the walk (move out).

12,000 pesos a month for that little room, my goodness! So if that's 12,000 pesos per month I wonder how much the room for 8,000 peso looks like. I was paying 5,000 pesos per month in 2018 in Caloocan Manila area and our room was way bigger than that little room. That room she showed you should've been the 8,000 pesos. I think sometimes they like trying to get over on foreigners that are trying to rent rooms.

😂 I stayed there 4 days ago. Room is kinda Meh. But it's the cheapest and they have very fast wifi. Bring your own blanket. Book online sometimes there's cheap deals.

I looked at the airbnb prices for February 2023 for angeles and it's like $2500 Australian dollars for one month, some even going to 4k. Can get 1000-1500 per month in pattaya. What a rip off.

Yeh , this is important stuff , important info. I thought prices most reasonable. P3000 for a week (accom) , girls P3000 for 2 hours ! Were there extra's ($) eg electricity. ? Are they ok different girls coming and going ? I have found decent places before , but they soon objected to all the girls coming and going and presented me with an additional electricity bill , at the end of the month : ) Moved out straight away. Dont come to Phils to sleep by myself : )

There you have to pay for electricity and water, electricity is metered, and water is 400 pesos per month. 8000 + 400 water and + electricity according to the meter. Prices are the same as in any apartments. As far as I know, you can bring girls, but if you go to the pool, then only one girl can be invited there for free, you need to pay for the second

You get what you pay for. This establishment was called New Liberty hotel during the US airforce days up to 2010s , name change to Big Tommy's resort. There are KZread videos if you look it up..It was never well maintained, Big Tommy's didn't have daily rental only monthly with no daily cleaning. I didn't see any hotel staff other than the front desk when it was Big Tommy's,,looks the same currently since the nice lady receptionist showed the rooms., Cats& Rats abound when it was New Liberty, can hear dogs and roosters noise from certain rooms..must pay to install own cable TV account... Great place if you or a broke penisioner, otherwise

Well my husband makes $175/hour so about 10,000 pesos per hour at the current exchange rate. But he feels out of place anywhere "classy". We have several houses in both countries, but one long term rental on Narciso by the jeepney terminal. If you pay for a year in cash, you get unbelievable deals. If my husband wants a month off with bar girls, the rental and bar fines are not the expensive thing. The expensive thing is buying me American Gold Eagle coins to look the other way.

Yea I saw Tommy's name on the sign as she was leaving at the end.....I never did visit that area I don't remember when I was stationed there in the 70s if it was there but looking at the buildings it probably was......we didn't head out to the hotel after paying a barfine until around midnight or before curfew.....good times. I think the vlogger Thippawan and the Farang lives where that bike was sitting with the helmet. cheers :)

If I stay with him, I get ALL the money. I have a hard time seeing how he could be broke making $1,400 a day, even if he didn't have an empire of assets.
