15:51 Actually, the old trams are made by ČKD/Tatra, the new ones are by Škoda Transport
The one at 17:46 is a seventies tram (Tatra K2) modernized in 2007
Old Slovakia lifts are Transporta or Tranza. They was instalated eveywhere in hospitals, tower blocks...
You have finally visited my country :D
schindler 3300 with keypad floor section are quite hard to find nowadays, there used to be a e-tool on schindler’s website where you can change the design the inside of the lift, like the walls, floor, ceiling light, mirror, what kind of doors your lift wants, and the type of buttons your lift wants, many lift sites had this, i had a lot of fun on the design tools, there is another version called Schindler Modernisation, that was removed as well. and a brochure for the 5300, but they discontinued the 5300 model and made a completely new model which we know today as the 5500.
That bridge was epic! That slanted tower is just beeing held up by tension rods.
SATELLITE No. 1! SUPER JACKPOT CHANCE!!!!!
Nice video!
There never were standard gauge trams on the tracks south of the river. It's pretty new and built as there are some (extremely) long-term plan to regauge the system
I'm from slovakia to and l like lifts in slovakia the are best lifts in slovakia. ..
15:42 these are ČKD Tatra trams, not Skoda. And seems like they have still have original DC PWM control. 17:14 seems like Tatra T4 (might be T3, they're very similar, T3 is slightly wider). 17:46 is a modernised K2 (articulated version of T3)

When you're down and troubled, and you need a helping hand.... And nothing, nothing is going right.... Close your eyes and think of me, and soon I will be there.... To brighten up even your darkest nights.... You just call out my name, And you know where ever I am. I'll come running to see you again.... Winter, spring, summer, or fall.... All you have to do is call.... Because I'll be there, yes I will.... *You've got a friend.*
These trams are made by Tatra, not Skoda, and some of them were operating in Berlin actually, now only the articulated Tatra are still in operation there
Schindler 3300 are super futuristic
On the schindler try the capacity I have found that's the code for locked floors ie 630kg = code 630

The tram at 15:39 is not that old since they were made in the nineties. Most of the older ones (Tatra T3) have already withdrawn and sold to Ukraine

Well, you said it would be awesome surfing the old epic lift if u had a screwdriver. But!: I actually tried surfing the lift from the same company called Tranza/Transporta. The problem is the chasis is most times extremely rusty and dirty from oil because of stupid cheap Baryt modernization company. It also comes only a few centimeters apart from the roof so bye bye if you dont stop before reaching the roof. An the rusty lift was Transporta modernized by Németh lift company(anothet crappy mod). Sadly the lift you rode(the one with manual inner doors close) didnt have original buttons and probably also motor made by MEZ náchod. It was probably modded and replaced(the reason is i didnt hear the motor "screaming"). But i have an completely original Transporta lift panel at home so tell me if you want a photo of it.

GOOD JOB BRO
Blah so many of them modernised. Here in Finland modernisation has now become common which is so sad :( I remember that just five years ago, I could go into almost any building and the lift would be the same age as the building (except in very old buildings, which virtually always have the old lift, but the logic is new). The 70s lifts with relay logic and no inner doors are often not modernised, instead completely replaced which sucks.

0:03 Why is there a second pantograph ontop of that Tatra tram?
@jonarthritiskwanhc
5 жыл бұрын
That's the pantograph of the second car
@simeonminkov6058
5 жыл бұрын
@jonarhritiskwanhc That's really odd to me, because in Sofia, Bulgaria when we have two cars coupled together the pantograph on the front car is up and the one on the rear car-down. I don't understand why would you have the one on the rear up.
@doktor54321
5 жыл бұрын
Since these trams entered the service, it was standard operating protocol to use pantograph on second car (I think it has something to do with pantograph-operated junction switches). But this photo must be old, because few years ago all T6 started to use forward car pantograph.

12:50 Very Unsafe and typical of Otis because they never lock the inner doors unlike the Ecodisc's and the newer Gen2's.
Ι HAVE BEEN UP A TOWER IN VIENNA IT HAS A KONE ELEVATOR
2.5m/s isn't really fast to me. I wouldn't get excited about normal and regular lifts running less than 3.5m/s (unless there is something else special about the lift)

I don't know what's nice about such 5500 installation. Absolutely ridiculous for the number of floors. (Don't worry I've seen worse)

Ok Ben, so if I get caught by someone for example in a corridor after exiting a lift I can get away by simply going back on top the lift ? I think some security guards or fire wardens or even cops may actually think about it and wait for me on the other floors though.

Tom Jardine I am very glad to hear that as a Slovak girl, but to be honest I don’t like Bratislava very much and actually find it pretty expensive, but it’s always good to hear that a visitor enjoyed a stay in my home coutry.
