I ran the Vin Number on one of these bikes and it comes up zero results. I double checked the website against my bikes and my bikes come up exactly what they are. Flyebike quietly changed the ad to read “off road use only”.

if you can find a way to get the bikes speedometer to display mph that would be dope. maybe find a way to install Bluetooth capability. also I suggest mounting the fan to the tank in some type of easily removable mount so you don't to the wires. maybe Velcro?

Is there any way you can show us all the connections for the battery system? I plan on either importing one with 5000w motor and 72v 100a that can reach 65-70mph. That or importing one with 5000w motor and cheap lead battery then buying 2 72v 100a lithium removal/swappable batteries with grips and a level 1 charging adapter, I also wonder if you can daisy chain or what plug the battery has as if it’s just one from the controller to the battery could just swap the plug to the other battery

Charge the battery and cover the bike to keep the dust off and keeping looking pretty. A battery tender will keep the battery maintained. But it’s not a big deal if you don’t have one. Just put the battery on the charger once a month to top it off. Try not to leave the battery dormant for too many months

Hey, I have the exact same Ebike from Fly Ebike the TDPX, only mine is in red. I still have the 72V 32ah Lead Acid battery, and will upgrade soon. I had a few questions for you because you are the only person I could find that has this exact model, though many are similar. 1. The headlights suck, they give off very little light. Cars cannot hear us since we're silent, and if they don't see us either, it's a problem. Also, I want to be able to see averything on the road, every pothole, crack, debris or garbage. That can be the difference between gping about your day and getting badly hurt. You say in the video that you're mechanically inclined. Can you tell me what bulbs do we have in these? I want to buy the same size bulb but with higher wattage, and have the bike shop add a booster kit like they do on HID kits on cars. 2. It sounds and feels like the front wheel is rubbing against the caliper, or the rotor is rubbing against caliper, not sure, but since day one it made a rubbing and sometimes whistling noise. Fly Ebike folks told me it's cause it's new and it needs to be broken in. Normally new pads & rotors do need to be broken in, but it's been already 150 KM (90 Miles), I think it's broken in, still makes noise. Do you have that too? 3. I heard you mention your trouble registering it. I'm in NYC. I went to DMV, had all the paperwork, title with VIN on it, Invoice from Dealer, 2 forms that were needed, and everything was fine, guy already had a license plate in his hand, then everything fell through, cause aparently he was unable to find "Engtian" in the DMV registry. Fly ebike folk gave me the run around, and nothing got resolved. I got this bike and not a cheaper one becuase it came with Vin and Title, and now I can't even register it??? What are you planning to do about this? Any advice is apreciated. Thanks a bunch

1) I would not put a bulb of a different wattage in. You could damage the bikes circuitry or the bulb will just blow out. Try an LED bulb. They’re pretty bright. 2) check the calipers. There should be a clip in each caliper that acts as a spring to keep the brake pads away from the rotor. I’m almost 100% sure you have hydraulic brakes on your bike. 3) I had similar questions about the DMV. I took a photo of the ViN number and ran it. Number came up “zero results “. Just to verify the website, I ran my other two bikes and they both came up as they are registered now. Flyebike quietly changed their ad on the bike to read “off road use only”. I see very few of them on the road-one or two here and there. I’m guessing either cops are bagging people with these or it’s too expensive to chance it. I like the bike a lot. I live on Long Island and the cops out here a little gung-ho so I’m a little scared to try it.

last one. next time you start riding on video, start the bike on video so we can see the magic of the start up

do you have to have a motorcycle endorsement even though it's not really classified under a CC sized engine? I also live in Florida and am very curious

In NY, the vehicle class is determined by it’s top speed, engine displacement and now wattage. A vehicle like this would definitely be considered a class A motorcycle meaning you would need a motorcycle license. Do yourself a favor and take a picture of the VIN number and check it before you try to register it. I’m hearing a lot of horror stories about DMV and these bikes

Website says it's only 2000watts and 40mph top speed. Obviously it goes faster then it says. Did you go with the 72v 40 amp battery?

I'm in Florida as well. Tampa area. I'm looking for something to be able to drive 20 miles to work. Only issue is it's US 19 the whole way. Speed limit is like 65. Would this work without mods? Or should I look for something else?

This bike will require substantial mods and some knowledge to go that fast but it is definitely possible. Like upgrade to higher amp BMS on the battery, higher amp controller, thicker gauge wires an bigger fuses to carry the increased amps to the motor. You might be able to push the same hub motor with higher amps to get the speed you need without changing it. Good luck!

Hey brother I live in Wesley chapel and I have one one these it’s will be here next week. There are mods to make it faster a controller would make it to 75-80mph have to have a ion battery

yes you can always add a battery you just need a battery blender/combiner as long as the voltage is the same

Depends on the state and locality. In NYS, the law is 20MPH maximum speed, 750 watts and under 100lbs. Anything over that and you’re going into moped and motorcycle territory. For example; the “revel” e-moped rentals top out at 30mph and they are all registered and insured.

@@grazz7865 I did figure it out, it was the main controll module which I already replaced, now there is only one issue, the reverse and forward are reversed (Amazon purchase)...
