The Springfield really needed help and when dum dum came out I felt that was the missing ingredient. I enjoyrunning it as a cheap option. I was using Springfield and Saber recently and had a lot of fun with it. My experience lead me you hold out hope that a Springfield bayonet might be something Cyrtek would consider for the future.

Explosive ammo also can destroy doors in 2 bullets, which makes pushing buildings a loooot easier

And easily triggers traps and clears concertina up as well. Best breaching weapon

Bleed ammo is one of the things my group has been talking about the most since the buffs they gave it to do the same base damage as other ammo types. The amount of pressure it can put on a team is just crazy. Even with bloodless you are not countering it that much. Yes it makes it faster to heal but that does not mean much if someone throws a consumable at you right after you are tagged. I usually bring some type of bleed option with me now.

been using springfield with dum dum since i started playing, just for that bleed and the overall feeling of the weapon. Really good one

this has been my go to loadout for a while now, that and mosin mace + romero hatchet. I absolutely love the springfield

I always loved the Springfield, especially the Marksman. Decently high velocity with a reload faster than the Sparks, it's an absolute head clicker

ayy i've been using this quite a lot for budget builds. i usually use scottfields for the pistol though, for extra medium ammo. but fmj is a good idea as well, especially on conversions

noice video! i use dum dum with springfield all the time, its really good. major downfall is if you get the bug where it doesnt let you reload so you are just stuck with using your pistol

I already run a Springer Marksman with a Conversion FMJ, most of the time now. Guess I'll consider a LeMat now as well.

Got my first server wipe with dual wield LeMat's. Have loved that gun since, obviously there's better options, but nostalgia alone makes me love the LeMat

I like compact dead eye Springfield, dum dum and explosive with dual FMJ (conversions) or (spitfire). if i want fire power ill use the vandal compact dead eye with FMJ with the dual FMJ conversions. cheap and effective 64 reserve.

Rachta, I've been doing a variation on this that uses the Crossbow instead of the Springfield for some time. It works wonders.

I mainly run the springfield with explosives ammo with a bunch of big dynamite bundle. *Yes, I frequently die on it*

I love Springfield, even for not-a-budget build, I go Springfield(Marksman) with explosive and medium ammo -very versatile combo. 1) Medium ammo -great to aim for a headshot kill up to 200m, also can wallbang to some degree. 2) Explosive ammo -great for finishing off tagged hunters behind covers, and as mentioned below in the comments, it doubles as a tool to open doors from distance -that barricaded door every bounty building has, well it goes down from two shots. I wouldn't call explosive ammo a meme, it is more utility oriented - still a viable option.

I played this loadout a lot lately, but I still struggle with the Springfield. Needs them followups with the sidearm real bad and I'm just not that quick xD

My favorite cheep Loadout is Romero hatchet and Springfield deadeye. Get the range and close quarters. Its probably not the best but I've been running it forever and it works for me.

If the Springfield's stats are lackluster in anyway, the play style that comes with it more than makes up. Having a very simple weapon that is good in most situations is great. I've beat out Mosin and uppercut users with the thing.

Springfield with fmj would be amazing. I don't really see why it shouldn't be implemented if we already have winnie fmj

Playing against someone with Springfield and Dumdum is a huge pain. Especially if you're solo and there's no one to cover you while you stop the bleeding.

Just thought about it recently how no one uses bleeding ammo with springfield. It's pretty underlooked...

Well, springfield is the only weapon that I never tried bc sounds like worse variant of sparks. Dumdum is still unlocked, never used of springfield before lol. But as a Rachtaian, I'd like to try it. Not fan of officer (conversion and/or scott with fmj all the way up, better than uppercut?) but it should work with springfield I believe. Still believe that romero + scott fmj is the best way to play the game. Cheap and effective. Who needs more?

Ratcha whats the appeal of lemat? You should do a video on all revolvers and showcase strengths and weaknesses. Lemat to me seems like slow fanning and shotgun isn't great, that said id like to see a more in depth look from your side.

Its decent revolver with high capacity + shotgun that works point blank and is still small slot... LeMat counters sabres/bomb lances so much

a nice loadout ive tended to enjoy would be the Nagant M1895 Precision with a Caldwell Rival 78 Handcannon gives you a nice mix of long and close range for a cheap price

I think they need to improve the iron sights with this gun. It's already weacker then all the other guns. And the iron sights make it even worst. The bleeding sound better then it is in real situation. Take a vetterli with fmj and they also have just 20 health left after the shoot. So they will also seek cover und you can penetrate much better Afterwards and shoot faster. If you want real bleed it gets outperformed buy crossbow and bow for example. And in the distance the bledding effect with the Springfield don't matter. So right know this weapon is in a spot there you have better choice upclose or far away

I think to take slugs on lemat and if you don't care about money, people may bring something different like a mosin or some other long ammo, it is a great loadout but it falls behind in long ranges compared to other options

That's what I dislike about hunt. "for now". You never know when they nerf the next thing. 😭

5:30 LeMat does not pick up the target after Springfield shot. Another proof of its uselessness. Springfield compact with scope and dumdum + 2 cheapest caldwells all need for win. )

Springfield is arguably the worst rifle in the game. Dum Dum ammo with it is pretty legit, tho. Here's my go-to budget loadouts Rival Conversion+FMJ Pretty strong sub-50m loadout $161 Vetterli Machete Great rifle and decent CQC. Pretty sure Saber got a Nerf in the December update making it less reliable. $123

You are mistaken friend! Imo worst rifle in the game is the Winfield without FMJ. Four hitmarkers to kill at most ranges and seven bullets with the cheap option
