Good work. I have 2 of those, and find them good. Each to their own. Made a camera mount out of one. (Made an adaptor to go in the arm).

Saved £50 on buying a real one and it was available in 20 minutes 😁 That mount and gauge is a bit like the screwdrivers your mum would buy you. You know what I mean ! Cheers Neil

I wouldn't trust the Accuracy of the dial Dean and the mount is rubbish but it works to indicate on the vice. Might make a spindle mount next. Thanks for watching and kind comment mate 👍👍👍

Paul ! Its ideal for tramming or sweeping. It is very cheap and I wouldn't trust the finger gauges reading for measuring something critical but it works well in this application. Thanks for watching . Cheers Neil

+1 on the magnet bases = rubbish. Somewhere somebody is having a good chuckle at our expense. Good idea for tramming. I need to recheck mine since it has been used a bit since I last checked.

I have 2. I find them very good. The second one I bought I turned into a camera mount for the lathe and mill. (Did a video on it)

@@BensWorkshop Yeah a camera mount is about all a couple of mine are good for. My fault went cheap and got what I paid out. Bought a Noga large pull rating - night and day. Gotta pay if you want to play I guess.

@@houseofbrokendobbsthings5537 I have found mine to be serviceable for dial indicators too. Last video I did shows it measuring chuck run out.

I use the same mag base indicator holder. I don't have any problems with it. The magnet isn't powerful, but I can live with that :)

The magnet on mine Michel was useless. When I put the indicator on it, it fell over 🤣🤣 The arm itself is OK though. Going to make more bushes to suit the collets I have and maybe a spindle clamp like the posh, expensive ones have 😏😏😏

I have an indicator like that but it's. 000005 os very accurate. I can't speak about the magnet base

It was cheap and not trustworthy Joseph but serves a purpose as longer as the needle doesn't stop moving 😊. Really appreciate the comment and taking the time to watch. Cheers Neil
