@Kenny Perez See whilst I agree Retail employees are largely underpaid, I don’t agree that it means they can’t take pride in the service that they as individuals deliver. When I worked in retail I got paid a tiny wage but I always went out of my way to deliver great customer service to customers, because I wanted people to think I was great at my job and enjoy their interaction with me. This is a trait that I have carried on throughout my career and has transferred time and time again :).

I have been lucky enough to meet this gentleman, Martin Grey, on two occasions and I can confirm it was an absolute pleasure on each occasion.I walked away each time knowing I had just met a knowledgeable and charming ambassador for his chosen trade. It restores your faith to know care and service still exists in this world.

This should be a training video for proper sales etiquette and technique. Bravo.

When I was a kid in the 1970s and 80s, you usually went to a shoe store to buy shoes, i.e. Kinney's and Tom McCann. There were actual shoe salesman who would do what this gentlman does. I miss that. Professional, quality service has declined dramatically over the past 20 years in just about every sector of retail. I just love watching this video. Very relaxing, and now I want my very own pair of Cheaney shoes! $$$.

Shoes are a complex subject matter, a normal joe can not be expected to service themselves when buying a pair of shoes that will fit the way they are supposed to. This isn't like buying a loaf of bread! Retail has gone down in quality--and is now the domain of young women who don't know the products they are selling like this gentleman does. And I don't say that to offend because how can they be expected to know?

Go to the factory they have a shop onsite saves you about 1/3 of the London prices👍 I live nearby and have 3 prs of cheaney shoes.....lovely shoes

I literally couldn’t like this video any more. I’ve watched it so many times I lost count... makes me happy.

This guy is all class, too bad we don't have very many places in the US to get this kind of shopping experience.

the way he talks and introduce the shoes, makes me wanna buy as fast as i could. he looks like my grandpa as well, miss him.

Can’t tell you how much I respect this guy. Has a genuine love for his product and a manner you can’t buy or train.

Now this is a Gentleman. A pleasure to see this video. His exquisite manners, , professionalism, courtesy and dedication to his craft is the definition of a true gentleman.

This guy is an excellent salesman. Watching this video several times made a Cheaney customer out of me haha. They’re fantastic shoes, surprisingly heavy. The rubber sole on the chukka boot is like a fortress for your feet. No snow, ice, or rain (we have all three in abundance where I live) can get through these.

The ultimate compliment to something that is of the highest quality is someone that can properly represent it.

I love it when people take such pride and joy in their work. Well done to Cheaney shoes and Co. When I go to London, I will definitely stop by and get some shoes.

This video is the reason I now own 3 pairs of Cheannys. They look special, they feel special and I'd like to think that il always be a customer .

The craftsmanship of the shoes looks excellent! They may be expensive at first but, with regular maintenance & care, they should last a very long time.

I have never owned leather shoes, but my english manager was talking about his extensive shoe collection. (he wears legit sexy shoes). He gave some advise and recommendations on brands, sole differences and leather qualities. I am starting to take a liking on the leather shoe business now cause of this OG grandpa.
