    My biggest piece of advice when it comes to your diet is don't overcomplicate it!! Eat the foods that make you feel your best!!

    Hi Julia! Found you on IG and was pleasantly surprised to see that you had a KZread channel. I’ve been on a binge and love your take on fitness/wellness and the healthy relationship you seem to have with food. I’m interested in “Cut” specifically because of your workout split. However, I’ve been in a deficit for a while (almost a year) 😢😅 and would like to do a reverse back to maintenance & possibly a slight surplus to start building some muscle and improving my metabolism. How can I adapt the workouts in “Cut” or the split to ensure that I’m actually building muscle?     CUT can be done in a deficit, maintenance or bulk! It all depends on your diet so if you want to cut, eat in a deficit, if you want to maintain, eat at maintenance, and if you want to bulk, eat in a surplus! But no matter if those doing CUT are cutting, maintaining or bulking, its a strength training program so building muscle is bound to happen if you're eating sufficient protein! The program also includes progressive overload!

    Hey Julia, I commented on ig but I think this might actually get to you. For the cut program do I have to bulk first ? I really don’t want to bulk as I don’t feel comfortable (maybe not confident that I’ll lose the weight) weight gain is a scary thing. But im 156 and I know I’ll feel my best at least 10 pounds lighter, I’ve always felt good at 140-145. Would I still lose weight with this cut program without bulking first?
