Those Dutch people, so smart and cheeky!
Your garden is so big than you can definitely call it "parc" and if one day it gets any bigger "domaine". A beautiful selection of trees.
Lots of fun and very funny. I’ve noticed you’ve jumped from 100k to over 200k. Congratulations. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 well deserved and I bet you’ll be at 1 million by years end.

Hilarious. So wonderful too to see folks coming in from the U.S., Netherlands and soon to be other places too! It's wonderful that you allow people to share in your world. You are growing a lovely community!
"Magnolia Stellata" what a wonderful tree... Phillipp, every time you go out to a nursery and come back with trees and plants you make me remember my father. He passed away some years ago and I still remember the same Joy and happiness while buying trees at and plants for our weekend house. Nothing gave him more pleasure than gardening. He knew the latin names of each tree. What a special and touching this episode has been for me. I hope someday I can visit your chateau. You, Anna, Nathan, Benoît and everyone are wonderful. Hernan from Argentina.
Great job by the volunteers. Phillip looks so happy and has a spring in his step when he is working on the gardens. Good luck with all the plantings. Have a great week. Hope the kitchen renovation is going well. See you next week. :o)
Oh so much fun! Philipp I think the volunteers are having a great time despite your teasing! Anna and Philipp, your banter over the trees is so humorous, yet Philipp did a great job with the selection and variety of trees. The photography of the frosty yard, park, jardin is beautiful. Loved the ending with everyone including the girls enjoying a meal together. Have a good week. xx
The volunteers are awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Philipp is very clever to pretend to be nice the 1st day. Charging them for food is also very smart! They'll appreciate their volunteer experience more! That way you can lull them into a false of security and make them work harder! 20 minutes a week for "Screen Time" is very generous!! The dinner looked wonderful!! The girls are adorable! Love from Vermont

🤣🤣🤣 Truly outstanding volunteer management. They did work very hard indeed!
Seeing Philipp so excited about his botanical loot gave me so much joy!
It looks so cold..driving thru the fog made it more so...all the trees have a good place to grow in your garden spreading their branches making the chateau even more beautiful ...bet the volunteers had the best time..happy days to all..❤️
Find yourself some who loves you as much as Phillip loves tree shopping.
Most dramatic lunchbreak of the year so far... 💥 Trees are lovely. 😊
So much fun to watch you terrorizing the guests, Philipp! 😂 Your arboretum will be spectacular! 😊❤️🎶👏👏👏🇨🇦

Luv the new closing! "Thanks for watching, see u next time!" The model spokesperson is So Cute! 🐇💕 Now u are going to have to hurry the rehabbing of the long house for the influx of volunteers staying!🐭🐙
Hope your trees bloom beautifully in the spring. Lovely volunteers!
Star Magnolias and the Eiche are terrific landscaping plants. Good Purchases Try to keep the Star Magnolias in a sheltered position, less rain damage will keep the flowers unbruised longer, less wind too.
Ok, I cracked up with the "look me in the eyes" scene, I was doing so well up until that point, only goofy-smiling. Damn. Shout -out to your wonderful volunteers! And your girls 💖💖

Woohoo!! Waiting all week for this. Just finished watching and loved it 🥰 so sweet that your beautiful daughters signed off - vloggers in the making!! It’s fabulous that you have volunteers who are willing to be roped in to your quirky and cheeky humour. The sponsorship of Surfshark this week was also professionally introduced with great discounts for those who are interested. Have a great week, from sunny Central East Coast, Queensland, Australia 😎🇦🇺🥰🇦🇺
Always fun to watch! The best show for a lazy Sunday. Its awesome to have volunteers helping out.
Human bone 🦴 👀 Another great Video thank you! Your guests have a great sense of humor like you two 👍❤️
Hello! Love your channel. I can help you with the wall tile dug out of the 'pit'. Would have been made in Europe. French, Portuguese.. The fired clay tile backing looks like french clay. The thickness denotes that it is probably 75 + years old. Hand molded and painted.White and blue tiles were prevalent in France and Portugal for centuries.
I love your sense of humour. Makes me laugh every time!
I'd love to volunteer, looks like fun. The trees looks so nice! Take care.

Brilliant vlog as always. Bravo to the volunteers for persevering in the frosty cold weather and working hard. Bravo Phillip for more great and funny content. Bravo Anna for your understanding and tolerance when facing a trailer full of trees! 😂😂😂. 👍
Lovely you are replacing the trees you lost with more trees of types that will beautify your grounds, serve a functional purpose for you, and add back to the forest count on your property. :) And Magnolia flowers are fragrant & lovely for decor too for your Chateau :)
Laughed most of the way through AGAIN at the shenanigans😁. Loved the tree selection too👍💞🌻
I worked as a volunteer in our state archaeology lab cataloging 17th century ceramic artifacts and I loved it and valued those amazing illusive shards of history! It's hard to imagine these precious artifacts being cast in the dump pile! Thank goodness she mentioned these to Philipp so they could be retrieved. You guys need me there to help.

This is so awesome. Trading a beautiful stay with you guys with volunteer work at the chateau... love this 🥰
You really are very entertaining. You have my type of humor, when I’m next in France I will definitely volunteer for some work (retired builder and carpenter). Lots of love to you all from South Africa 🇿🇦 Much love to you
Beautiful selection of trees!
So happy you have volunteers helping you out. There’s a spring in Phillip’s step and his humor is even more cheeky when he interacts with the volunteers. The park will look beautiful with the trees he selected. Your daughters saying goodbye was adorable. Thanks for sharing 😍😘
Love that you’ve got help in the garden , getting lots done .
Glad to see volunteers helping, and the girls at the end, so cute!
Loved this! Nice job volunteers! Great humor as always! 😂
Fun video, it looks like everyone was enjoying themselves. Looking forward to spring to see how nice the plantings are doing.
I looked up all these trees, they will look so nice in your back yard/back garden/jardin/park! So happy to have found this channel, really enjoying all your videos!
Always enjoy your videos! And I do enjoy and appreciate the background music which makes your story magical.
The trees look very healthy good job Phillip .the volunteers will be a great help .I love seeing the girls x
The garden is going to look beautiful Phillip!! Just remember to plant those magnolia’s with plenty of room to grow, as their roots grow up to 4 times as wide as their canopies!!
Fun, Fun, Fun hanging out with you, Such a delight with that sense of Humor Love it! I also love seeing before, and after projects!
You know what looked good in the jarden? Sculptures, ready-mades.
So nice to have volunteers to help with the grounds ... very frosty morning!!! Lunch looked good. Love your tree selections ...
Philippe your drole humour is always a delight... I always seem to hear the soundtrack from the 'Pink Panther' in your presence 😉💛 Remind me to not apply for a volunteer position, though might reconsider if breakfast was catered by the restaurant in town.. ? The trees are lovely!! One can never have enough, and you & Anna might enjoy the 'Cedrus Deodora', or Deodor Cedar. It is one of the most gorgeous majestic park trees in the world, encens, with drooping branches that have sweet rose shaped cones. It gets huge! 💚✨🌲🌲🌲✨💚
Congratulations on reaching new heights with so many more subscribers. The choice of trees is lovely, and the garden will look even better in the spring now. The volunteers do not seem put off by the bitter cold, and have done a wonderful job. Thank you for providing such entertaining content, it’s a joy to watch xx
Nice to see Phillipp giddy about his new trees! Great that you are replanting after all the storm damage. I think one of the difficult things about a park like yours is taking the time, money and effort to plant for a future that is decades, even a century or two out. Your wonderful old trees are there because different people, over several centuries, did just that. When you think of the famous landscapes created by someone like Capability Brown and realize that in his lifetime he never saw them as more than a bunch of saplings... Great volunteers - obvious that you are getting a lot done and having fun doing it.
Love the humour....well done volunteers and Phillip! The plants that Phillip purchased are beautiful and will look amazing. Well done Phillip!! Lovely cooking Anna, everything looks delicious. You are wonderful hosts!! The girls are precious!
Been binging these videos non-stop over the weekend! Don't know if I am happy or sad that I have finally gotten up to speed! As a fellow expat living in France, I am so excited to follow your journey! I think we all wish we had Anna's amazing sense of style and creation, but I would settle for having Philipp's sense of humour and attitude towards life! Thanks for the amazing videos!

Loved seeing all the trees purchased!!
I thoroughly enjoy your channel, and your journey. Thank you for being so real, and fun and informative and just a delight to watch!
I love that wee nursery and the village pays d’auge garden. Great choice of trees, the Wedding Cake Tree will look so splendid. Fun film, well done everyone, the arboretum is a wonderful legacy 💚
I just found your channel and I love it. I am a school "Kaitiaki"( pronounced kai=like ki in kite Ti=like tea Aki=like 'ar key') This is the maori word for guardian or caretakers of the land. I feel like you are both amazing 'Kaitiaki' of your chateau and land. Phillipp makes me laugh when he is so excited to use his wood chipper but inevitably spends half an hour fixing a clogged or broken part before the fun can begin. I feel like that happens to me at work so regularly!! Keep up the amazing channel, I love it!
Love this cheeky channel!! Always lots of giggles. 💖🇨🇦
Good job Philipp ! Trees are my favorite thing outside and my second is flowers !
So nice to have great fun help in your gardens. They are going to be even more beautiful with the new trees. 🇨🇦
I always look forward to Mondays! Thank you for being funny Phillip!
Well done Anna and Phillip! Always entertaining , genuine and getting on with some wonderful projects. Your transparency and regular updates are very refreshing to see.
There is a particular Magnolia tree that takes seven years before it blooms. It has huge white flowers and is worth waiting for, that may be the one you have that hasn't bloomed

I loved the Magnolia trees at the Royal Palace in Madrid, very beautiful.
I'd love to volunteer too! Lots of hard work and fun to be had! Anna and Phillip, you both are so lovely and talented. The trees will be spectacular in the spring! All the best from Palm Desert, California
You have chosen some beautiful plants... congratulations! Have a look out for betula jacquemontii the Himalayan Birch, which has a pure white bark.. It looks beautiful all year round
Great selection on the trees.
Phillip it's nice to see how excited you get over the trees! The Birch you bought with the peeling bark might be the kind that if you plant it where the sun can really shine behind it, the peeling parts of bark will really glow. Maybe look into it. I used to have some kind of wild bushes that had bark that did this, it was really pretty in winter.
Philip you are so funny I love your dry humor So pleased you have now got help and so good for the kids to meet new people from all over the world xxxxx
It was nice to see your guest helping out, just makes better memories of staying with you all. I love all the humor working with Philipp 🙂🙂
I love your humour Philip. So entertaining. Your channel is my favourite to watch. Such a beautiful place. I'm sweating through a hot Aussie summer right now, so this was refreshing to watch.
Ahaha Anna will come around she’s just mourning the dashed heated floor funds 😂 All the same I’m sure the trees will be beautiful! When they’re really happy flowering magnolia can grow like crazy. 10 years ago we go one that was supposed to max out at 10-15 feet in height (3-5 meters) and it’s now over 20 feet tall (recon it’s even hit the even taller 7m mark)!
When watching Anna pick blackberries on an older video, I was reminded of how we picked berries at the U-Pick farms in Oregon. They gave us a small, sturdy stick about 3 ft long with which to push or pull the branches as we picked. We tied the small bucket (with a handle) around our waist so as to free both hands, using the stick with one hand and picking the berries with the other. The stick helped tremendously in keeping the thorny branches out of the way or pulling the higher one within reach! Hope this helps!!! Love your channel. Watch from Florida, USA.
Wow what a wonderful selection of shrubs and trees, my kind of choice, they may be expensive now but in years to come they will bring so much wonderful specimens in such a beautiful surrounds and I am sure your paterons will agree too, amazing work as always. xx
A hands on visit ... so much more rewarding. Especially with garden work 🌱
love the new trees you got Philipp! they will look very nice in the park👍
you two are absolutely charming. really enjoy this vlog. thanks for posting

Just Love Love watching .....so interesting and fun!!!🥰
Great to see volunteers helping , enjoying your sense of humour. From Canada here. Yes I have a back yard 😂
Thank you volunteers for coming & helping Philip & Anna Great Gardening 🤗🤗🤗🤗 Love Sue❤❤❤🇬🇧❤❤❤
That was such an enjoyable video! The shape of the “half off” tree is magnificent. I can’t remember the actual name of the tree. Magnolia trees in America have large, beautiful stratified deep pink and white flowers. They are the most lovely trees in spring. I hope your bloom just as lovely.
Wonderful episode! Those were some amazing volunteers!
As usual you make me smile thank you again I love all you do . Very funny, love how Phillip couldn't look you in the eye Anna
I love how excited Philip was about his trees!💖
I can only agree to all the comments so far. A pleasure to watch. I would love to be a volunteer, but that isnt possible for me . I can imagine they have such fun working with such a funny charming couple in such beautiful surroundings.
What a great idea volunteer's in the winter to help with the garden. 👍
Hurray for the humour. Loved it. I always look forward to your vlog. You make it fun and uplifting.
I so look forward to your videos! I only discovered you a couple weeks ago and happily tell you that you're the best channel on KZread! 🥰 Thank you so much for being YOU! 🇨🇦
You two always bring a smile!!
Magnolia stellata absolutely can't tolerate cold winds particularly around the base so that the need shelter from other shrubs trees which give them warmth too but wind shelter is vital.
I loved today’s blog, great humor! I really busted up over the poor guy getting shoved over off his chair on their dear 20 inure break for the week!! 🤣
I think this was my favorite vid so far. LOL loved the invoice for the food
Another enjoyable episode 🥰👌🏾Your sense of humour is the best! Hilarious 😂💞❤️💞Looking forward to see your gardens progress 🌳🪴🌳
Beautiful trees!
Absolutely love watching this channel.
I laughed so much!! Enjoyed very much. It is beautiful.
