I love the shade of blue for the bedroom ❤ The humour between everyone is priceless😂 The rhubarb compote looked delicious too 🙂 As a child the only way I liked rhubarb was in a strawberry rhubarb pie. My tastebuds have changed as I have aged. I will look a recipe up for it's measurements. Yum, yum !

French lessons with Nathan are the best. He’s grown up but still has his cheeky sense of humor. Benoit is a good sport, he gets teased by Philipp and Nathan, but gives as good as he gets. Love this channel.

Love the blue! We have blue walls in our bedroom, too, and it feels so cozy and calming. I also appreciate the return of French lessons with Nathan. Benoît - never mean to Nathan. But as a fellow parent, you need to keep your kids humble... because they do the same for you. Edited to add: you know... California poppies are a gorgeous orange color and orange IS complementary with blue...but lots of blues printed on a fabric would be stunning.

Philipp, I'm amazed at how humble you remain when your DIY skills are so vast & precise. Deep down, I'm sure that Benoit is appreciative of all that he has been able to learn from you over the years. And I'm sure he counts his blessings each day, using his remaining fingers. 😊

Or build an act & do comedy clubs😂❤!!! Small town & them at a central table in a bar, talking a bit too loud😂! Of course they would have to read the room, gage the audience/patrons😊! I would love to go down to the local, just for a pint & have these yahoo's show up😂!!! (Soon they'll be receiving calls from owners, for gigs because of the regulars spending more time & money!

Rhubarb and strawberry pie. Just a suggestion. The sweetness of the strawberries balances the bitter bite of the rhubarb.

To prevent the rhubarb from becoming bitter when cooked, you should peel off the outer skin of the stalks, which is quite easy if you start from the root side. Have fun next time... Damit der Rhabarber beim kochen nicht bitter wird, sollte man die äußere Haut der Stengel abziehen, was recht einfach geht, wenn man von der Wurzelseite beginnt. Another informative and entertaining episode. I really appreciate Anna sharing her thought process about how she approaches design. I love your chateau with its restrained elegance. In saying that, I mean that it is not tizzy and elaborate or trying to imitate a period. It’s just very, very beautiful.

The kitchen hand made Anna tiles looks so good and seeing it with the wall paper from the mud room entry is just stunning 🤩. The toilet room looks great too 😅. Looking forward to the next textile creation. I love printing and silkscreen is my favourite 😍

I love so much usually a home would have blueprints or photos or paperwork but this beautiful home will have hours of footage showing the decisions, the progress and the heart that was put into it. I’m sure the future generations are going to adore this. It’s so so beautiful, that BLUE brings such elegance in.

A big headboard in fabric is such a splendid idea! 💝 If your fabric have white inside the print, you can create a beautiful and chic suite. Love this idea. Add a charming loveseat, a pair of beautiful chairs and golden lighting accessories such as lamps and it will be stunning. Don't forget a persian carpet. Their rich colors can complete marvelously your decor.

Put a damp paper towel underneath your cutting board while you are cutting/ chopping to prevent your board from sliding on your stone counter tops. It will make your life a lot easier while prepping . Live your videos ❤

Another fun episode. When I was a little girl my father used to stew the rhubarb from his garden and my mother would add stewed apples and make a delicious apple and rhubarb crumble. Thank you for a delightful memory. A small amount of maple syrup might sweeten your compote for the girls palates. Yummy warm with ice ream or custard. Beautiful blue walls lend themselves to all sorts of cottage and Victorian decoration ideas. Have fun. Looking forward to the candle product placement in the petite toilet.

That color is my favorite color blue!! I couldn’t believe it when it went up. My favorite color is green, sage all the way to Hunter’s green. But, I always paint my bedroom blue. Blue is a soothing tranquil color. That blue, which is almost a smoky blue is my favorite. I’d use antiquing glaze on all the wood panels. It’d really bring out all the lines & detail giving it more depth. It’s easy to do, almost like stain except you apply it heavily, then wipe off parts you want lighter & leave the lines darker. It’d look like it’s been there forever too.

Oh cool! I've always wondered how people make fabric designs. You can always make your own fabric and then mix and match fabrics on the same colour scheme but in different prints and textures. I find that super chic, whenever I see it happening in interiors. Plus you could always do a nice mural in the bathroom that combines the colour schemes of the bedroom and dressing room. That would be a very nice transition from one room to the other. It would truly make it look like a suite with a LOOK. (sorry I write as much as I talk 😆)

We called that rhubarb sauce and put it over vanilla ice cream and angel food cake! My mother made all kinds of things with Rhubarb, including crisp, pie and cobbler. She would also process the juice and freeze it in ice cube trays. Later in summer, she would make a simple syrup into which she put the frozen rhubarb juice cubes to melt and mixed it up. She would add that to a pitcher of water and it created Rhubarb Ade, like lemonade but with rhubarb! It was delicious and very pink! Enjoy!

Anna, you can anchor your cutting board by placing a damp dish cloth under it. That way when you're cutting it won't slip and slide and you won't accidentally cut yourself. 🙂That compote looks AMAZING!!
