I feel sometimes we make a big deal out of things. Some guys wouldn’t know a girl likes them even if she drops the whole type of lights 🚦for him as hints. Probably has to do with his upbringing or social life be it poor or good 😊. Now if a girl likes a guy and she has the guts to approach him and let him know so be it. Where the issue is when the guy gets this information ℹ️ and doesn’t do anything to continue that’s if he’s interested in her one bit. Because sometimes we don’t love ❤️ people immediately but like them enough to be with them but later fall in love 😍 with the person and the relationship blooms. Remember it takes 2 to tango so it’s who’s a better dancer 💃🏽 that can either teach the other do this or that. #My Candid Opinion 😊

I really pity shy guys or guys without game. These men might have the best of intentions and have great character but the belief that a man must always initiate conversations has kept them single for so long. I think these conversations should touch on different scenarios to have a more nuanced and broader conversation. E.g. If a girl constantly says "hello" to a shy guy she likes, and he gradually builds the confidence to initiate conversations, then they eventually start dating, then get married, are we saying the marriage is doomed? From my personal experience, I see absolutely nothing wrong with a woman being friendly to a man she likes. If the man doesn't respect her Godly boundaries despite her being friendly, then it's on him comply or be cut off.

There is no scriptural reference to support this constant narrative of a man has to pursue or chase a woman. There is a big difference with how Africans, especially Nigerians infer chasing and pursuing which is setting dangerous precedence. Grow healthy friendships, that make it natural for both to converge once an interest is clear. We focus too much on the chase and pursuit, rather than the development of mutual interactions. Also, please the scriptures never said pursue or chase a wife, you find a wife..but you seek (pursue, chase after) the kingdom. Finding is not necessarily an outcome of intent, desire, or even pursuit. Hence, why you have narration in the Bible of a man of God being told to marry a harlot. Let's be guided please

Lets learn to socialize as brothers and sisters in Christ. There is more to intergender relationships than just marriage! My advise would, having a desire to marry aint wrong but submit that to Christ. Then, stop conjuring up stuff in your head and try to get acquainted with the guy, without ulterior motives. You might find out that you dont even like him that way and he might actually be in a serious relationship with someone else... Stop fantasizing about marriage and start living.
