Cool car , and nice work Guys . I remember when these where first released , i was still an apprentice at ford ( Jeezus i`m old :( ) , i always liked the XD , i loved the airy glass house feel to the cabin , we used to have the police contract with the divvy vans , general duties sedans and highway cars . when they first come out , one of the big talking items was the plastic fuel tank that would be tested by a 36 foot drop full of water , and the start of basic electronics in to our local cars . Who out there remembers points and condensers and grease nipples :) ? ah the good old days .

As an ex-owner of an XD Falcon 302 Clevo many many years ago, it almost defies logic that a SIX CYLINDER (!) XD can these days be comfortably street driven and also in the hit the 7’s on the track. It’s just nuts. You would be in an asylum if you said those were achievable in the 90s when I had mine! Fantastic Car. I had a 300 ZX fully worked back in the day. All the work was done by Wyld Automotive. But it was something about the Ford XDs that made me always want one. A guy I used to work with had a stock standard model. He was the first owner straight from the dealership (Ford Lidcombe). I would catch a lift home with him every day and it was a beautiful car. He kept it in good condition too.
