Have you ever gotten in touch with an underwriter at Chase? They have other rules of how to get around that and what their limits are for their cards too.

Chase Trifecta. Get different cards for different spend categories to maximize points and then use all of those points to transfer to either the Sapphire Preferred or Sapphire Reserve to maximize travel value. You could also get one of the Ink cards if you have a business and a lot of business expenses and then a dedicated card for something like the World of Hyatt card as Hyatt tends to offer the best value in terms of point redemption. That is already 5 cards right there. The point is to use all these cards for different things and then transfer to them to transfer to either of the Sapphire cards as you get better redemption value through the Chase travel portal but more importantly the Sapphire cards allow you to transfer points at a 1:1 ratio to travel partners such as Hyatt or United Airlines. This is where you can really maximize value as Hyatt points are generally valued at 2 cents per point and sometimes as high as 4 cents per point.

Not it does not apply to authorised users… it only applies to primary card holders

No restroom no matter your disability or how much money you let them keep

It’s not even a secret rule bro. Got denied recently for a chase cc and the rep from the reconsideration line told me that I was over the 5/24 rule… so yeah nothing special / new at all.

I apply for the chase freedom flex like a month ago and I want to apply for the sapphire preferred and the freedom unlimited should I apply for the 2 of them or just one at the time ?

@@caststorms2987 you do not need a high income for that amount of cards although it helps. Different cards provide you diversity in rewards. Also, you expand your credit line. Your debit card gives you nothing in return while a CC gives you security on payments, cash back or points for planning your next trip for purchases you normally do. Sock draw the one you don’t use or need and it helps you make credit overtime. That is how you play the game 😉
